The Glitterati Candle Co.: Part Deuce

Good Morning! Back with the second and final installment of this here Glitterati Order of Insanity! Insanely good. Just to qualify. These chunks are my fall/holiday/winter/Christmas blends.

Bayberry/Apples/Fireside/Leaves- My ideal fall scent, come to life. Shiny red apples, smokey air, biting bayberry and crunchy leaves. Thank you Janine for making a dream come true! Loaf, please.

Cranberry Woods Fireside- Reminds me of a cabin in the mountains, fire place roaring, cranberry cider simmering on the wood burning stove. Please pass me my quilt and that book on the table? I feel right at home, thank you.

Marshmallow Fireside/Cranberry Woods/Cider Lane- Bath and Body Works fall trifecta! The caramel from Cider Lane dominates this blend happily. Woodsy, smokey cranberries meld surprisingly well with Cider Lane. I am happy I went blend crazy lady again.

Fallberry- Excellent house blend, the berries suggest cranberry with a slight earthly undertone that encompasses red, orange and yellow falling leaves.

Christmas Clause Caramel VBN Cookies- This is a four scent blender: Christmas cookies, Mrs. Claus' cookies, Autumn's Perfect Caramel, and Vanilla Bean Noel. I was going for the Best Sugar Cookie on Earth. I think it  could win a coveted Blue Ribbon. It also wins a spot on my To-Be-A-Loaf list.

Pumpkin Pecan Waffle County Fair- The County Fair brings a subtle sweetness to the PPW. These Pumpkin Pecan Waffles are heavy on the waffle batter and toasted pecans. I melted this and it threw beautifully strong and lasted several hours. As it warmed it lost some of the dry bakery notes and became more rich and smooth. Her PPW are better smelled warm than cold for sure. They round out so nicely once metled.

Pomegranate Cider/Cranberry Marmalade- Oh my! Smells just like a festive Christmas Punch. A cut crystal bowl filled with pomegranate juice, unfiltered apple cider, and lemon lime bubbling soda (there is a nice carbonation in this one!), slices of blood oranges and ruby cranberries bobbing in the punch gaily. So good.

Pink Marshmallow Fireside- A dream come true! I seriously will Pink out anything. Or fireside out anything. I love Pink Sugar. I love Marshmallow Fireside. Why not? Even better than I hoped! Loaf!

Christmas Ivy- A lovely, unique Christmas blend. A Christmas wreath roundly composed of Spruce, juniper and pine cones. Should have gone for a loaf in this one. Dern. I may still and save it for next year.

Cinnamon Christmas Cranberry- A cinnamon stick tied with a sprig of Douglas Fir and a trio of dried cranberries nestled in the center. Splendid Christmas fragrance.

Sandalwood Fireside & Pine- A complex and alluring bonfire scent. This one is a gem if you like fireside scents. Loaf worthy.

Leaves Marshmallow Fireside- Sweet, but maybe not my best blending idea. Hoping they mesh better when warmed.

PPW/Cinnamon Donut/Vanilla Buttercream-  PPW with added cinnamon and vanilla icing, a warm and homey scent. Makes me wish Krispy Kreme had a donut like this.

Pumpkin Roll/Marshmallow Fireside/VBN- Predominately a sweet Marshmallow Fireside with a whisper of vanilla pumpkin. Excellent.

PPW/Marshmallow Fireside- Maybe not my best blending idea. I don't think PPW jives with the fireside. I know.... I know. I went FIRESIDE crazy!!! Fireside ALL the things!! I did! I know! Gah! I found the fireside blends I needed. This was not one of them. Hey! At least I didn't add fireside to fizzy pop. Or grapefruit. Or Leaves. Oh... yeah I did.

Perfect Caramel Pumpkin Biscotti- I mostly smell an authentic almond. Almond biscotti with a dusting of spices on top. Can't wait to melt this one.

Marshmallow Fireside- Janine did not have a Marshmallow Fireside blend so she created one and did an excellent job at it. I really enjoy this version of Marshmallow Fireside, it has depth and character.

Fireside.

I love my Glitterati order and I have my loaves picked out. Maybe even one or two new blends to try brewing in my head. Do you have any crazy scent blending combos running amok in your brain? I hope you have a wonderful Thursday!

Fireside.

    1. I am kicking myself for not getting more apple blends after smelling your amazing hot apple pie chunk of amazingness. I really really loved Christmas Ivy. Are there any here that stand out in your curiosity?? >eyebrow wiggle Huh Huh? Elbow jab<

    2. The ones that jumped out at me were Fallberry, Pomegranate Cider/Cranberry Marmalade, and Cinnamon Christmas Cranberry. A lot of them started to grab my interest but I'm iffy on fireside/smoky notes, and pine/spruce/etc. scents can become too much too fast for me.

I have a Spiced Apples & Peaches scent melting right now and it's so dang good. I was leery about the peach being in there but it's really stepping up the usual spiced apple scent quite a bit! Something to consider in your next blending madness. =)

    3. Spiced apples and peaches sounds like one I need to explore in greater depth. I cannot recall trying that particular scent. But I do love my spices!

  3. *Drooling* These all sound amazing Julie!!! The only fireside scent I've ever tried in wax was marshmallow fireside, is plain fireside more smoky? I got a little scallop in Christmas Ivy from her once and I loved it! Fingers crossed for some fallish blends in my mystery box!! Enjoy all your new goodies <3 Loving these pics!!!

    1. It is more smokey. I can see how it would not be appealing to some folks but I love a well done fireside. I hope you get some amazing fall/holiday blends in your box too! Thank you Jacqui!
