Sniff My Tarts: November Order

I did good. Really! I did! My urge to order large with Sniff My Tarts is overwhelming, but this last opening in November I behaved and made a tidy little order. Small enough to fit in a Regional A, which is great! So what did I get?

First and foremost, a beautiful decorated sheet cake in Frosty Pine/Peppermint/Pink Sugar and I LOVE it. I don't even mind that it is Christmassy. I was worried about pairing Pink Sugar with pine but I am glad I did. The scents blend to create a beautiful musky, woodsy mint aroma that fills my nose with bliss. I look at this photo and wish I was a wee folk strolling among the minty sugar pines dusted with glitter.

Donut shapes in Marshmallow Noel, simply the most amazing marshmallow scent ever. On cold it has a slight plastic edge but when melted it vanishes and lets loose the strongest, most drool worthy vanilla marshmallow cream scent I have experienced. Always a repurchase.

Chunks in Peppermint/Marshmallow Noel/Vanilla Bean Noel (peppermint as over pour) smell intoxicatingly minty fresh. I cannot wait to melt these.

Popsicles in:
Birthday Cake/Rose Jam/Pink Sticky Marshmallow- Yasmine mentioned loving Rose Jam and Birthday Cake and I have to thank her a million times over. This blend is my favorite out of all these (and there are some serious favorites here). The Rose Jam has a strawberry lemon tartness that plays nicely with the sweet cake and pink marshmallows. I hope SMT continues to carry Rose Jam for next opening, as  sheet cake in this WILL be on the menu for me.

Spearmint/Lavender/Peppermint- This was a last minute addition I stole from Lauren <3 I am glad I did, as it smells like my kind of aromatherapy. The spearmint and lavender herbal qualities compliment each other well and the peppermint adds coolness. Thank you Lauren!

Warm Vanilla Sugar/Leather/Vanilla Extract- I was shooting for a Scentsy Vanilla Suede vibe for this blend but the leather is so very realistic that it out shines the vanillas. I do love leather, and inhaling this brings to mind a leather shop I used to visit during the Strawberry Festival, where you could get your name put on belts and purses and wallets. Genuine leather.

Sticky Marshmallows dipped in Peggy's Blueberry Noel are fantastic! The blueberries smell very strong and concentrated. The combination of blueberries and Vanilla Bean Noel almost lend a graham cracker crust effect, creating a Blueberry Delight dessert. Great blend Peggy!

Sticky Marshmallows dipped in Spicy Eggnog are spot on. Opening the bag with these fellas inside instantly brought back decorating the Christmas tree with a glass of ice cold eggnog in my hand. I am going to melt one and see if it is creamy and spicy enough to be a year'round comfort scent.

Free Samples in:

Spearmint/Pink Sugar/Vanilla Bean Noel: YES please!

Pink Sugar/Sticky Marshmallow/Amish Friendship Bread: Wish I had in mass quantities. The bread is loaded with cinnamon and together with the marshmallows and pink sugar, I love it.

See??? Wasn't I a good girl? Granted I have about 3 sheet cakes I want for next opening, but that isn't too bad either right? What SMT blends are sheet cake worthy for you?

  1. Certainly are some yummies here! Those little Sticky Marshmallow ones are so cute. And your mention of graham cracker had my attention perked.

Random note...I love that mini card. When I had my Etsy shop, I often ordered mini cards from other Etsians, to use as thank you notes in my out-going orders. It would be so neat to get into making them, but I haven't even tried because my previous attempts at card making in general have all been epic failures.

    1. I am digging the dipped marshmallows. One marshmallow is the perfect melting size, around an ounce.

This is my first card from them and I love it! I judged to be a big card marker but I sold most of my Stampin' Up stuff. I kept a few things. Maybe I should break them out. You should try some card tutorials. I found the little templates and idea books were really helpful as a jumping off point.

  2. Oh how I love SMT! You packed a big punch with your modest order, well done! Can you imagine marshmallow noel as a blender ...wowza, i'm excited just thinking about it.

This is a bookmark post for sure. I'm absolutely positive I will be referencing it during the next opening. <3

    1. I love SMT too <3 I tried to get a little variety but the mints always take over.

Yes!! Marshmallow Noel could blend beautifully with tons of scents. I am thinking about adding half a donut to the pink Amish bread sample.

Your name came up on the current order list!! Not much longer now! Can't wait to see what you got!

  4. How on earth did SMT pack that sheet cake and it made it intact to you, that's what I want to know! It looks amazing! Frosty Pine / Peppermint / Pink Sugar sounds amazing, I may have to steal this blend from you the next time I order!

    1. They put it in a large bag. Two of the trees were knocked over, but easy to right for the picture. The box was packed pretty tight to keep stuff from shifting.

I think you will enjoy this minty blend!! I will save a chunk ;-)
