FuturePrimitive Soap Co.: Valentine's Day Release

Tiggy's Valentine's Day release included two specific scents I just could not get out of my head: Jilted & Crushed and La Vie en Rose.

I chose a soap in each and a large body whip in La Vie en Rose and a small (only since the large was sold out) in Jilted & Crushed.

Jilted & Crushed- "A keepsake box of loves lost. Chunks of Copal resin, Indian Attar's filled with Oudh, Flakes of Amber resin, Black Tonka Beans and offerings of Dragonsblood, finished with a lick of Vetiver."

La Vie en Rose- "Soft powdery Violet, Indian Mohagany Rose, a vintage jar of Parma Violets and a hint of dark, sticky Labdanum oil."

La Vie en Rose on the left and Jilted & Crushed on the right. I will review these soaps more in depth in later posts. This is just haulage bliss for the eyeballs.

The body whips have the same luxurious feel as always. Nice slip, non-greasy nourishment and skin pleasing properties with personal fragrance enhancement. I really do enjoy the ritual of smoothing this body whip into my skin before bed each night.

Tiggy included a free sample soap sliver in Elijah's Comfort. This slice smelt beautifully of bright and fresh lemongrass. I sent it up north to live with Deb, so maybe she could dream of spring while sniffing it. And maybe tempt her with handmade soaps again.

Overall, once again I am stoked with my FuturePrimitive order and look forward to using up these goodies.

That is a photogenic duo...the blue is gorgeous like a summer sky. Thanks for posting a preview, relief for my soap chat itch.

    1. They are so gorgeous aren't they?? They smell just as good as they look too. I bathed with both of them last night but I still want to use them a bit more before I review. That Jilted though..... Soooooo goooooood.

  2. Perfect descriptions and lovely photos! Soap vendors amaze me with their skill and care in packaging.

    1. Thank you Sunnee! The soap scent description was Tiggy's, she does such a great job creating those <3

They really do have a touch more flair for it than wax vendors, now that you mention it. Probably because so much more artistry goes into it? I hope you are having a good day my friend.

    1. Yezzzz... Thick and luscious like buttercream frosting. If she makes Indian Attar a General Catalog scent I shall scoop up her whole line in it. Soap, scrub, body whip... All!
