Cellar Door Bath Supply

My friend Jean sent me a sweet early birthday package and these two soaps from Cellar Door were included. I follow Cellar Door on Facebook and often oogle their many lovely bars, but just have not made the leap into a purchase yet.  I find the texture to be a most pleasing rubbery smooth finish.

Lavender Pumpkin offers up a sweet bouquet of lavender buds and caramelized pumpkin treats. It smells deep and rich yet still clean and not buttery. I love it. The soap lathers beautifully and quickly with creamy soft white bubbles and no residue.

Zombie Repellent is definitely a complex yet thrilling scent. Upturned earth, cedar notes, and the trailing sillage of white musk from the girl running for her life in front of you. Her heels kicking up dirt and the breaking branches of tree limbs bursting forth sap and spice and green chlorophyll in her haste to out run the zombie menace pursuing us. Great scent.

Cellar Door is firmly on my radar now. I need Frostbite. Like yesterday. Have you tried this company? Do you use bar soap? Where do you purchase your bar soap?

  1. I am glad these scents worked out for you, what do you think about lavender pumpkin as a supposed aphrodisiac?? I have doubts, haha. I don't know who did that study. What first attracted me to this soapmaker were the waves in the soap tops, like an iced cupcake. I am a sucker for a nicely shaped soap top!

These soaps were a steal too, they are half off with code HALLOW50 (http://cellardoorbathsupply.com/collections/retiring) and three soap loaf ends were sent as samples. And no wimpy scents, my first bar from them was Rosemary Mint and the scent filled my bathroom.

    1. I think my husband is asnomic to most smells but he does love Handmade in Florida's MoroccanbTea Mint :-) I already blew through two soap ends. I liked the dark brown one. Mmmmm any kind of mint is my thing as you know!

  2. I love Cellar Door soaps - they are a top favorite etailer for me. Frostbite is a favorite of mine as well as Paradiso. They have fabulous holiday scents this year as well. I also love and buy soaps from Petals Bath Boutique, Comfort & Joy, Handmade in Florida, Linger, Lippincott and SV Soaps.

    1. Frostbite is high on my wish list! Petals was one of my very first indie soapers. She has great stuff! Handmade in FL is my obsession right now for sure (and FP). SV has been on my radar for a while now. I will look into these other soap vendors too. Thank you Anon! Happy bathing!
