If you would like to see these reviewed in depth, comment below with your choices. It is a weird haphazard basket of things I have been wanting to melt or craving. I am not sure when I will start to break out the Christmas scents. I don't really have a ton of them, about a melting basket full, but it is kind of late in the game to try and get more unless from a quick TAT vendor. Although I do have some candles. I don't decorate until the day after Thanksgiving but the Christmas tunes are piping out of the TV whenever I get a chance to cook. The Thankful Tree is up.

Scarlette is way more into the Thankful tree this year, understandably, since she can write and spell more independently. Generally, each morning we all write one thing we are thankful for and place it on the tree. I catch them doing more than one leaf, but I don't mind. I let the girls pick their own patterned paper this year, which was a fun way to kick it off. I am looking forward to making the Thanksgiving menu and recipe browsing. Are you decorating for Christmas yet? Is your holiday wax stash ready to go? Do you have any November traditions?

  1. ooooo, CFTKR - Christmas Mulberry sounds fun!
I have been itching to pull out Christmas decor... however the organizer of the storage closet has made sure it is all waaaay above my head with no ladder in sight... drat... lol.
I'm anxiously waiting for Thanksgiving so we can eat waffles & bust out the Christmas decor!! I've already dug into my favorite Christmas wax... now I just need the temp to drop a little lower & bring me some snow!! :-P

  2. Could you give descriptions of Sniff My Tarts- Peggy's Blueberry Noel/Ice Cream Cake Batter/Pumpkin Ice Cream cookie
CFTKR- Serendipity Noel please? Also, how did the blueberry scent you made turn out? Did you like the RG Mandarin Mimosa scent? I unfortunately did not. :( Something about the booze/orange/cream blend turned vomit-like for me and my husband. I absolutely loved all the other tarts you sent though! :) Did you end up liking the TBG Honeyed Toffee? Sorry, so many questions, but I love wax talk!

    1. I would love to! I am excited about the SMT cookie. I liked my Amercian Cream pretty decently but I am a sucker for that scent. I can see how many don't like it though, sorry you didn't. :-/ I do enjoyed TBG honey toffee. I melted it today. It smells like Honey I Washed the Kids. Good for every now then, but not something I would buy in mass quantities :-) I enjoyed our swap! It was fun! And bring on the questions. I LOVE wax chat!!! <3

  3. I like seeing the Cranberry Spice tarts in this basket. I've been having much luck with my cranberry scents this month than I did with my pumpkin scents last month.

I'm not decorating for Christmas yet but I've seen some pics on Instagram from people who are, and I have mixed feelings. I cringe because it's soooo early, but I'm also all dreamy eyed because it's so beautiful. It's kinda like I'm not willing to look for Christmas music on the radio yet, but it does put a smile on my face when I hear it in a store while shopping.

    1. I can't wait to pop those cranberry spice ones in the warmer. I think I may do it Sunday when we get back from seeing Adam's folks. Sorry you had so many pumpkin duds. Mine were about 50/50 this year. I guess pumpkin is hard to capture.

Definitely not ready to decorate but my ears crave the dulcet tunes of the holidays. The stores are decorating their light poles and stuff now. I am getting excited!

  4. Love your Thankful tree! We haven't done one since we moved & now I wonder if the girls are too old. Even though I don't have much Thanksgiving/Fall décor, I was ready to get Halloween down & put up Fall! I'm not ready for Christmas though!!! The year is ending too fast!!!
