Awaiting:
Mother's Day weekend, headed to Anna Maria Island with Scarlette, my sisters and mom for a weekend of sunshine bliss, good food, great company and the shore. Savanna is choosing to stay home with dad so she can go to a sleepover party. Tear. She's growing up.

Dreading:
Nothing at the moment, but my current bane is the post office and my neighbor who swiped half of my CFTKR tarts. Ok, not half... But enough to feel rage.

Enjoying:
My shorter hair and highlights.

Low:

How was your April? Highs? Lows? Try anything great or sucky?

  1. Sounds like a pretty good month. What's up with the neighbor taking half your CFTKR tarts?!?! How could someone do that!!!! Happy Mother's day to you! :)

    1. It was a good month! Half was totally a hyperbole but they did take some. The PO delivered to the wrong house, I had them track where, went there and got my box, torn open and missing stuff. Carol was super super great about the whole thing even though she was not at fault at all. I did leave a note to the Un-neighborly neighbors and called the PO repeatedly (they say I ended up getting my package so no claim can be filed). Anyway. Small potatoes in the end, just frustrating. Happy Mother's Day to you too!! I cannot wait until next weekend!!

    1. They totally do. Bunch of greedy bums. Makes me wonder how much mail we have missed over the years. We always return theirs when we get it too. Ugh.

Thank you love! And to you too!! You are a mother to many students and your pups. <3

  3. Boo about your neighbor stealing your cftkr! Sorry that happened to you. That is so dishonest!
Your Mother's Day sounds beautiful and relaxing.
I know what you are talking about with X files season 4! The second episode "Home" is the only episode I haven't watched and refuse to watch haha. I watched the first couple of min once and had to switch it quickly.

    1. It hit me wrong too Gina. Especially since we always give them any mail we accidentally receive.

Lol! Home was so gross. Very much like The Hills Have Eyes. It was hard to watch and uber creepy.

  4. I can't imagine taking someone else's mail!! The photos from your manatee canoe trip were lovely. I totally want to do that next time I'm out there to visit my mom. We took my baby nephew to Blue Spring State Park last time but there weren't many manatees hanging out that day. Happy Mother's Day! :)

    1. How was Blue Springs?? That one has been on my radar. We are lucky to have so many beautiful springs to visit here in FL. Happy Mother's Day to you too!

  5. My April was a mixed bag. We had that announcement at work, which set my feelings all aflutter. Some work problems have eased, and my feet/knee pain has eased, but other things just creep up in their place. It's a sunny day though, and I do realize things could be much much worse so we'll just smile and soldier on. =)

    1. Your April was full of upheaval. Glad to hear your feet are doing better. You get to skip the foot doctor store now? I love your last statement. Grinning and soldiering on needs to be my motto.
