There is a new series coming to The Redolent Mermaid. I have deepened my love and appreciation of all things silversmithed and shiny so in that vein I have decided to add a monthly Mermaid Treasure post that features a piece of handcrafted silver jewelry I have purchased, usually from Etsy.
The inaugural post will spotlight my recent purchase from The Stray Arrow Jewelry. Stacia Salvucci is the artist behind The Stray Arrow. Her cave lady, arrow adorned and primitive bohemian vibe goes right to my whimsical heart.
I ordered two rings from her. One I saw on her Instagram feed and the other I had been making love with my eyes to on her Etsy store for months. They arrived about a week after purchase in these adorable wax sealed miniature boxes.
This sodalite stone swirls like the deep sapphire waters of the Caribbean and is set in a gold fill bezel with sterling sliver backing and band. Stacia hammered molten silver to create three shipwrecked dangling treasures to hang below the stone.
Jingle jangle go the wee charms.
A lively aqua Kingman turquoise stone sits in the middle of a handcrafted sterling silver flower setting like a queen at her throne.
Do you have a bit of a magpie eye? I hope you don't mind doing a little jewelry candy gazing once in a full moon. Do you have any favorite jewelers on Etsy? Do you like turquoise?
