Bathhouse Soapery: Tea Tree Peppermint Soap

The Bathhouse Soapery is a site I have window shopped numerous times. The soap scents, expansive bathing goods and lush styling and photographs are a bounty to behold. My friend Nancy visited the actual store in Hot Springs, AZ recently and so very kindly sent me a bar of soap from there.

She wanted me to pick my scent and I just happened to be in a huge tea tree and mint season. So Tea Tree Peppermint it was! I could smell the invigorating coolness of the peppermint and the relaxing medicine of tea tree before I even opened the wrapper. The powerhouse combo of mint and tea tree uplifts and grounds, calms and rejuvenates in turns. The peppermint smells natural and herbal rather than candy sweet, and the tea tree has a slight eucalyptus vibe. I love it. It cleans nicely, though with minimal lather, releasing that healing scent in the air. This soap can be used as a shampoo bar as well.

The soaps run $8.00 each. My eyes keep straying to the scrubs (which Nancy recommends and I will try soon), mineral baths and bath teas. Oh and candles. Thank you Nancy again, for this wonderful soap. <3

Have you tried anything from Bathhouse Soapery or visited one of their stores? What are you bathing with?

  1. I'm so glad that you like it! The scent of that one is so amazing - when I posted it, the mailman said, "Your mail smells great!" :) I found that all of their scents were very natural and true - even their branded combos. I love that, as one of my biggest pet peeves is artificial-flavor/scent. I can't deal with that. I definitely recommend the scrubs, and I have a mineral bath and bombs, but haven't used them yet. They make a "heel glaze" that really works well on cracked heels, too - and it smells like divine honey! Hot Springs is such an adorable place, and their shop was intoxicating. Arkansas is definitely a wonderful place for a getaway! <3

    1. Thank you again Nancy!! <3 It is amazing! I agree with you, the longer I am in wax the more I like true scents as well. And this soap smells very authentic. Normally my feet are in good shape but I think I have neglected them for a little too long and a heel glaze sounds right on the money. I will check it out! I would love to visit Hot Springs! My brother and sister-in-law live in St. Louis, MO and I have visited St. Charles before. I see that they have a Bathhouse Soapery there. If we go back I will definitely be swinging by there.

  2. Ooh, glad you received this scent! It was the one I was eyeing if I was going to finally try their soap too. I have a similar bar from Valhalla called Alfheim but yours sounds stronger, it probably is scenting the entire bathroom. :D
