Rosegirls: January 7th Pre-Order

Rosegirls opened for pre-orders on January 7th and this was my small order from that opening. It arrived around February 17th.

A half pie in Posh Pristine Peach which blends watermelon, peach and pomegranate and ran $20 for 14 ounces of wax. The peach is peppy and jovial, much like the sweetly sour Jolly Rancher candies. Watermelon adds mellow coolness and the pomegranate brightens it up a little. It is a wonderfully juicy summer blend.

Save the Drama For Your Mama is an old school favorite of mine from when I first got into Rosegirls years ago. It is a Pink Sugar and Monster Cookie combo. The cookie is a little stronger than the pink sugar and it has a bready dryness to it. A definite crunch. Two muffins come in a pack for $7.00.

The last thing I purchased from this pre-order was a muffin pack in Ooey Gooey Caramel Tobacco. The tobacco comes from a popular Caramel Tobacco blend a lot of vendors use. It has a little edge to it, some oakmoss astringency. The Rosegirls Ooey Gooey Caramel add thick sugary nectar to the tobacco. It is a fabulous blend and I cannot wait to melt it.

I always look forward to seeing what new blends and what old time favorites she chooses for the pre-orders. I keep crossing my fingers for a couple of scents. We shall see. Do you have any you would request if you could? What would they be?

  1. I know there are older RG scents that I absolutely loved but I can never remember what they are. Of course there is Monster Cookie and Streuselkuchen, but there is also an Americana one, and a strawberry one. Strawberry Nilla Wafers or something? Gah, I can't remember. Oh and the peppermint-coconut, and the watermelon one that I also can't remember. LOL

    1. I am like you. I need to go back and re-read some of my older RG posts and recall what all I really loved. Streuselkuchen is a definite and for some reason there are a couple of banana scents I really miss, I think one was a Monkey Fluff Puff and a Donkey Kong Destruction. You should go to check out her new digs and give us the scoop/tour. Sniff around the goodies. <3

  2. One day I will have a pie slice to my name! I haven't found the perfect scent to make me give in and buy just yet but one day. I was very tempted during the Mario Sampler though. The pink sugar monster cookie sounds amazing!

    1. You need a pie slice to your name!!! I know that feeling. It is a love/hate thing with the ones they pick as pies versus the bags or muffins. There have been so many times I wanted the muffins in a pie shape or the pies in a muffin quantity. I just try to take what I can get and be a good girl.

  3. Ah, there's the Pink Sugar muffins - I knew you'd get those ones! You are completely right about that Monster Cookie scent; it is rather dry, and kind of warm-smelling? I like it, but I prefer it tempered with marshmallow smoothie (so Fluff Puffs, I guess.) I really liked Crazy Pants Fluff Puffs, which was apple and strawberry and Fluff Puffs, but it's so strong, it made me sick one time. :( That half pie is awesome - enjoy your summery scents!

    1. You knew I could not help it!! Though I think my tastes are changing and the Monster Cookie is getting a little zucchini Frito chippy to my nose (GAHHHHH!!! NOOOOO!!!!). It does fare much better with the marshmallow smoothie. I think I will melt these with a little SMT Marshmallow Noel to mellow it out a little. I don't blend near enough so this will be a good reason to do that.
