Wonderberry Wax Co Scrub

A sweet IG friend, Gretchen, took over the bath and body side of Wonderberry Wax Co. and makes all the scrubs, soaps and lotions via a separate webstore than the Wonderberry Wax tart store. She does pre-orders then sells the remainders as RTS. I purchased this Sinus Relief scrub on January 7th and it arrived about a month later, around February 8th. The scrub was $11 plus $8 shipping, so $19.00 total.

Sinus Relief smells very invigorating. It is the scent of preferred chest rubs everywhere, Vick's Vapo Rub. Mentholated fumes of camphor, eucalyptus and peppermint waft enticingly from the sturdy plastic jar. I love the layered colors that coincide with the notes and the green lid caps it off with perfect coordination.

The sugar particulate feels fine and densely packed, much like The Bathing Garden scrubs but with a creamier texture rather than on the drier side. It exfoliates beautifully without dissolving too rapidly. It builds up a rather pleasant foamy, bubbly lather, leaving the skin neither dry nor hydrated but incredibly soft and smooth. The Sinus Relief left a cooling tingling sensation on the skin that lingered for a bit and I quite loved that aspect. I even used a tad on my face and it felt amazing with my slightly scratchy throat and run-down tiredness. Instant aromatherapy.

I am thrilled with my purchase from Wonderberry Wax Co Bath and Body and will be back. As of last night she did have the site open for pre-orders. Do you have any Wonderberry favorites?

  1. I'm not at all familiar with Wonderberry but I am currently back 'on' in my on/off scrub phases so this post is interesting to me. Maybe I'll pop over to the site and have a look.

    1. Excellent to know! What scrub are you using right now? Or are you interested but not having any? A girl needs to know these things. She has lots of fruity and sweet scents. Deb friendly scents. Not a lot of weird Julie ones.

    2. I have a big tub of The Bathing Garden's Sleepy (?) that I'm working on right now, and that's all I have. I looked at the Wonderberry scent and had a small scrub and small lotion in my cart because I saw Oatmeal, Milk & Honey scent....YES! Then saw the flat rate shipping was more than my purchase and dumped it.

  2. Bomb Pop is a great one to give a try next time they offer it! I have really enjoyed it in wax and scrub form. I am addicted to anything Vicks scented so I bet this is absolutely amazing!!

    1. Ooooo! My friend Sunnee used to love Bomb Pop scents. I will have to check that out. It is a bright and fun scent to have! I have not really used fruity scents in scrubs. Maybe I need to try some. Thank you! <3

  3. Wonderberry has a great scrub going on! My favorite scent is watermelon mint. It smells sweet and refreshing. I purchased the Sinus Relief body butter for whenever a cold comes lurking; I haven't used it yet, but I imagine it will come in handy.

    1. They really do! Watermelon Mint sounds great for summer. I was thinking of trying a body butter but I just stuck with the scrub for now but if I see it offered again I will definitely splurge for it.
