That was five years ago. One summer I put it outside for about a day thinking, oh, this will be so nice for it, actual sunshine, and then when I checked on it the next day it had lost all but, like, two of its leaves and was gasping on death's doorstep. But bring it inside in our too-dark kitchen and next thing you know it's sprouting leaves...only at the top of its branches. Stupid plant! :(Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14320833098339108738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2810618299009561680.post-26107345829011415182018-04-24T07:43:43.239-04:002018-04-24T07:43:43.239-04:00This is HILARIOUS!!!! I totally don't blame you for feeling bad and keeping it in the house as it is now a long-term roommate. Does it have a name? Needs a name at this point. I need to look more into their care. Leads to all sorts of horrible, deeply misshapen plants that look nothing like what they're supposed to look like (I have a poinsettia in my kitchen that started out life as a little mini thing in a pot that has since grown into a three-foot monstrosity with all of its leaves at the very top of these long, spindly branches. It's pretty hideous, but I can't intentionally throw it out or really try to kill it either - seems too cruel given all the years (five, six?) we've now spent together. This pot is so great, though - sentiment aside, those blue drips are great.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14320833098339108738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2810618299009561680.post-66548167675904893672018-04-21T12:32:58.874-04:002018-04-21T12:32:58.874-04:00So cute!
