Are you a runner? Gym rat? Clean excessively and find your hair getting in your eyes? Do you just wanna have something to keep the hair off your face? No? Then pass on this post. Because although my level of commitment to most of the above can be tenuous at best, I do like to keep my hair off my face when I apply face masks, facials, or during night time make up removal. I have a sweet friend who, again, I met through the Mom's group I used to be a member of many moons ago. Amy Radano and her sister, Nicole Fournier, though miles and states apart, harmoniously run a business together called Hot Headz, where they hand make each headband.
These headbands are pretty neat. They have a velveteen backing that keeps them in place while being worn. They come in an astounding array of ribbon choices, from basics to designs and can even be custom embroidered. I bought the 3 for $25 set. I chose two Harry Potter and one plain white. You can order from the Facebook link above via message or email them at hotheadzheadbands@yhaoo.com. The girls love them too. It is funny because I catch the girls at the school I work at wearing them too. Ashley gets them mailed to her all the way over in Japan. >Ashley! Show your stash girl!!!<
Headbands normally give me a headache but these are much more forgiving and comfy. I can't even be bothered with the hard plastic or metals ones. What do you use during your beauty routine to keep your hair out of your eyes?
LOVE IT!!! I have such a love for these!! I have 3 on their way to me.. #addicted... I'll share my collection once the new ones arrive. :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoy them too. The first one I got years ago gets tons of use while working out and cleaning the house. I can't wait to see all yours!
DeleteInteresting. I just have a cheapie plastic one that gives me headaches after a while, and a cheapie black fabric stretchy one that I like because it's wider, but also dislike because it gets loose too fast. So I could possibly get Vikings ones from there? hehe

They DO carry a Vikings one! :-D
DeleteAnd Green Bay ;-P
I have a few of the cheapie fabric bands too but they end up shifting around and getting loose like you said too.
Love the HP bands!! I love looking at their different designs on FB, but I haven't bought any yet. We don't wear many headbands around here -- Savannah does the most, but hers get broken or lost. Maybe she'd do better with these, LOL!! Great post!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI was all set out to grab just the one Ashley showed on FB recently, then discovered there was ANOTHER Potter one and then heck, why not make it an even three for the bundle savings ;-)
DeleteI bet Savannah would like them, there are TONS to pick from.
HP bands?!~ GAH! So cool! These look really nice, I have been looking for something to keep the hair outta my face. I usually just use a clip and have been forever it seems. You look cute with a headband! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! That is really sweet. I use a clip (the claw looking ones) when taking a bubble bath. I remember rocking the banana clips in middle school though! Giiiiiirrrlllll! I had the waterfall of curls coming outta that thing with my plaid flannel shirts and platform Vans. Dig it.
