If you are local to central Florida, do yourself a favor and head to BMB Farms to pick some juicy blueberries in the next several weeks. While the pickin's good. $15 a gallon for organic homegrown goodness.
The day was beautiful. Breezy, sun shining, and full of good folks.
(Told you I was a creeper).
Hi Mom!
The peaches were so cute and tiny. About the size of a small plum.

Another successful U-Pick, blackberries and maybe peaches will be up and coming trips in the near future. I have blueberry muffins on my mind. What would you make with these?

ReplyDeleteI made these last year after a day of berry picking and they were very good!

Thank you Lynda!! I am going to make these for sure!
DeleteBeautiful pics! Looks like a fun & gorgeous day!
ReplyDeleteWhere did y'all go?
Thank you Tricia. We went to BMB Farms in Bartow :-)
DeleteDid you end up baking with the blueberries? I can finish off a carton in a couple days. Blueberries in dairy sounds good too, like ice cream or smoothies. Or blueberry bars with ice cream...yes, I am hungry.
ReplyDeleteI did! I made some blueberry muffins. I did freeze some for baking down the road. I still want to make the bars Lynda posted. I plan on baking/cooking more this summer :-) wish me luck!
