The itch to be by water again is fizzing through my veins. We had our one beach day during spring break, but now that the weather is starting to heat up the girls and are on the hunt for bodies of water. Except lake swimming. Lake swimming in central Florida in summer is bad news bears.
With only a month and a half left of school I think the time for plotting and planning the summer time adventures has arrived. Once I get a list going I will share it here. But honestly, I am woefully behind on reviews so I need to get my butt in gear and start working on some of those.
And while I am writing and sniffing and slathering on product... my heart will be calling out to the gulf shores.
Are you craving a particular scenery or activity? Is the mantle of winter and spring finally falling from your neck of the woods?
We've definitely moved on from winter...finally! I think even our slipping back to chilly days of spring are most past too. We are 70 degrees here today. The early flowers are blooming in our south bed, buds are on trees, and our lawn already needs its first mow of the season. You know what that means for me! Music and mowing therapy. =)

GOOD! Did winter seem incredibly long to you this year? We were still having cold days in April, which seems weird to me. Lawn mowing! Woot woot! Time for that meditative therapy and perhaps some story building? A girl can dream.
DeleteYep, story building too. That old story has been popping into my thoughts again now that life is settling down again, finally. It still gets bumped down the priority list but I have not given up!

Well, that just looks absolutely stunning! I forget that beaches look like that. Canadian beaches are...well, not the same!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see pictures and hear your thoughts on the two TBG candy apples! Winter Candy Apple is one of my mom's favourite scents, so I bought another one in my last order to replace the first one, which I'm going to give to her. She'll never melt it in a million years (SO not a candle person, and when she does, it's unscented white tapers only!) but she'll really love having it out and about for a little while.
Do you guys have rocky beaches? Cliffs? I have had many a daydream about rocky/cliffy English beaches. Not even sure they are a thing but my brain conjures them up.
DeleteI will be happy to review those two! I bet their wax pools will be amazing. I will save those for a weekend when I know I won't miss the melting. When I get home from work I pop the warmers on when I am cooking and rarely get a decent wax melt pool shot. Wax blogger probs. I was waffling on picking up two more but decided to use these first them if I like them enough beg for them to return next year. I hope your mom likes them!! Even to just have out as a decoration, they are really cute and smell great.
