I have the original Foxcroft in EDP and adore it. I will try for the intense in oil form. Whisper Sisters is definitely a use quickly brand. I don't think her oils are necessarily the top shelf oils but I do love several of her offerings. She has those nice roller balls that are generous so I use them up quickly. I also feel like some Sixteen92 scents don't always age well. I used to love my Mercy Lewis but as she got older I cared less for her. Death By Stereo too. That reminds me I need to up my Sixteen92 wearing game before they get too old.

Here's to some fine Arcanas, Solstice Scents and NAVAs in our future! They were waaay too green and spicy for me at fresh purchase, after a year, they're smoothed out and so frickin enjoyable it's astonishing.
I feel like some of my Whisper Sisters oils I preferred more right away than aged in my cabinet. :/ I need to revisit a handful though to see if that still holds true. I'd think the opposite would've happened, but I know perfume formulas are all different and will affect aging.
I enjoy hearing stories of very aged patchouli, oakmoss, sandalwood, etc. heavy perfumes and how fantastic they smell. I can't imagine! How wonderful. I think it works well here in sultry Florida though. I totally agree it is a gorgeous pool or beach or vacation destination scent. But frankincense is a note I am blown away by every time. It is such an elegant and ethereal aroma for me. The notes are blending and that dark, rich Coppertone vanilla scent is smoothing the edges and knitting everything together. It's funny, I love these notes but don't often want to wear SIYT because I don't think of it as "me". I reserve it for pool or beach so I can pretend I'm wearing old school tanning oil. The scent you reviewed sounds lovely- ah, frankincense!
Brooke Bailey Paintingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04942906405084600755noreply@blogger.com
