Warmed Wax: Beezy & Scent Illusion

Beezy Blonde Moment: Champagne with cranberry and raspberry is the basic scent description. Grape Hubba Bubba is what I smell. Not as much fizz and zip as I would have liked. Starts out with a touch of tartness but as it melts becomes more sweet, like grape snow cone syrup. Long lasting, over 8 hours, strong throw. Not a repurchase. I like my Blondes to be bubbly.

Scent Illusion Vermont Apple Pie: Ended tossing in both scallops, not because it needed it but I was being complusive. Very strong throw. Sweet cinnamon with a few apple slices thrown in. Unfortunately, there was a candied berry note that kept throwing me. It just did not fit in with this type of scent. I am a purist with my apple pie smells, they need to be full on apple cinnamon with maybe some crust. Nothing else. Not a repurchase but I am totally stoked about the throw.

I also melted Mac Apple Rosegirls' Garden and I am head over heels with it. Red juicy apples and sweet candy rose petals. Strong throw, long lasting. An elegant home fragrance.

I watched the first episode of Outlander last night (it is FREE on Starz.com!) and could not be more happy. Claire and Jamie were perfectly cast. If you have not read Outlander yet, please do! It is a brilliantly written story. I am fangirling over all the Outlander themed wax and soap cropping up. Some of it is headed my way <3 Have a lovely Sunday!

  1. Thanks for your honest opinions about these tarts! I am going to melt my Beezy blonde moment soon to compare to your notes! I love super bubbly blonde moments. Vermont Apple sounds like a great throw indeed! The Fall Slut frowns upon that scent, though. :P

    1. I hope yours is more bubbly! I melted mine in the living room/kitchen which is a large area. I also go approval for apple scents from the Fall Slut! Lol! Just no pumpkins or cranberries.

  2. Outlander, outlander, outlander. I am officially on board. All my conversations lately have started with "have you seen out..."
I'm going to read it first though.
Blonde Moment needs a little inspiration from Strip & Go Naked.
Surely TFS's ears were ringing with the mere mention of Vermont Apple Pie.

    1. I am obsessed. I cannot help it. Great stories with amazing history, settings and language. They do begin to lose some steam with the later books but I read them all the same. SnGN is such a great scent! I still love Beezy. And it was strong! Just not my type of BM.
