This will probably be my last melting basket before we head out of vacation. I will make a post of what I plan on brining with me to the cabin to melt and burn. I melt quite a bit this summer! Being home all day really most days really helps me to enjoy more of my stash. I have freed up room in my wax storage drawers to buy some fall goodies here soon.

And my summer would normally have an extra week after vacation until I return to work, but due to some shuffling around I will be headed back right after we return. It is all for the best because I will be transitioning from assistant to co-lead teacher in the classroom. It has been almost 10 years since I was a full time, full-fledged classroom teacher. I am nervous, but excited. The kids always make it a fun job to have.

It may affect my blogging, but I am not sure yet. At any rate, I will at the very least still post on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday format if I start to feel over loaded. And that won't be too bad. I have plenty of material still (you should see some of my new perfume oils I am letting cure before I review!) And I plan on ordered at a few opening that approach.

New horizons approach. Hoping the new healthy habits I have begun will stick with me during this transition. But hey, that is only up to me, right?

Do you have any changes approaching? What preventative measures do you take to keep on plan when you know stressors will be coming your way? Are there any openings that you plan on partaking of?

  2. Best of luck to you with the changes ahead! I'm in a similar place, enjoying as much as I can of this break before it's gone. I noticed I've been going through a lot more wax than usual, too... it can only be a good thing :)

  3. Ooh, you've got some very exciting things ahead of you, including a new(ish) classroom, or at least a new teaching arrangement. Quite a few of my friends are teachers - full time, substitute, ESL - and I just don't know how you guys do it. It's such important work, but holy wow, the responsibility! I can barely get myself through the day! Until then, though, I wish you all the relaxation and joy you can squeeze in (a leisurely squeeze!) to the rest of the summer.

    1. It is exciting! Thank you! And it will be nice to contribute to the family again in a finically manner. Help my husband out a bit more. Teaching is definitely a career one does because they love children and education, not so much for the financial gains. It can be very draining and has its sad days but more often than not the kiddos make it the best job in the world for me. Hope you have a nice summer too!
