Little Garden Pottery: Mushroom Mug

Elizabeth Erdener is the potter and artist behind Little Garden Pottery. She is a deft hand at painting botanicals and some of their happy pollinators. She does her hand-painted glazes on her hand-thrown mugs that are a loamy brown hue with a fine sand texture. I really enjoy tactile mugs like this.

There are actually three mushroom tumblers much like this but without the handle left in her Etsy store at the time of this writing. She is an inspiring person to follow on IG as well with all her gardening and outdoor adventures and studio moments.

What botanicals do you gravitate towards?

  1. That mug is very cute and very you. :) So you must be running out of space with all these mugs your collecting?! Do you ditch an old store bought one every time you bring a new handmade one into the mix? hehe

    1. Thanks!!! I have been lurking about her IG page for a little while now and was hoping she would make some more of her mushroom babies. Since we have been packing the cupboards are bare so it is tricking me into buying more mugs LOL! But now while we house hunt I am eyeing up the kitchens and the potential for some coffee mug cupboards. :-) Poor Adam. I have ditched all my store bought mugs long ago and even gifted some of my hand made ones already. But this one will have to be pried from my hands.

    1. Thanks! I have always loved botanical sketches and this reminds me a bit of those. I have been eyeing some to frame and use as artwork in the next place.
