This Obscurus wax tart was sent free from Femme Fatale for reviewing purposes. All opinions my own.
Well if you read this post the first time it will look totally different to you the second time, because I goofed Big Time. What I thought was part of the Indie Pick Up monthly releases is actually the Femme Fatale Wax of the Month. Oops. Please forgive me! This wax will be available today, May 1st through the 5th.
Algol by Obscurus- Notes: Sugar, strawberry, vanilla, watermelon, yuzu and orange.
Algol smells deliciously like a Nerd's Rope. The sticky taffy-like center and clusters of fruit flavored candies studding it that make up one of my very favorite candy experiences. The watermelon and vanilla liquify the tart citrus fruits, providing a juicy foundation for their zestiness. I would say, overall, this reads like a watermelon and citrus fruit punch scent. And it is yummy. Perfect for summertime melting.
I love the glitter and whorls of subtle purple and pink and blue that make up a waxy nebula.
Femme Fatale Cosmetics is based out of Australia and is a great option for international shoppers who have a difficult time procuring perfumes and polish from overseas.
