Life Brand: Detoxifying Face Mask

Gil from Nosegasm and I swapped boxes this summer and he included this face mask with a note that read: "Life masks are only sold at Shoppers Drug Mart and in its sister store SuperPharm in Isreal. They're pretty good! Let me know how you like it, there are tons to try out."

The mask features Lotus Flower and Ginseng to nourish and protect the skin. Thick, creamy, cool mint green clay mask formula that smells of aloe and cucumbers. It applied thickly and hardened after about 15 minutes. It rinsed with some slight scrubbing and left my skin feeling tingling fresh and rejuvenated. I enjoy these cucumber clay type masks and was thankful to have it gifted to me. Check out Gil's blog for fragrance, beauty and beauty blogging advice.

Can you tell I am on a mask kick? What masks do you love?

  1. Interesting mask! I like the Freeman masks; they have a wide variety and are available at most drug and big box stores. Also like the occasional sheet mask from the dollar store. Enjoyed that black pearl mask you sent me! I have a jar of Dead Sea mud face mask from Herbolution on Etsy. They make tons of great organic masks and other natural products.

    1. I like those too! They are affordable. Glad you liked the Black Pearl mask. I think I am going to wear one tonight. I save the goo in the packet and apply it the next night too. Like getting two masks in one. :-) Dead Sea mud is so decadent and rich. Love it.

  2. Sounds like a lovely mask! One of my first mask loves was also French green clay, it came in a small gift pack from Burts Bees, I think it was Green Goddess. I had gotten it for the holidays years ago and when I got around to trying it a few months later, it had been discontinued! Later I got a bag of straight green clay from a bath & body supply company.

    1. That green clay is so strong! It makes my face tingle a bit. Reminds me of my Aztec Indian clay. :-) Hope you have been well Jean. Have a great week!
