I think I am diving into a bit more of my beachy summertime scents in this basket. I will probably hold on to the rest of my beach Bathing Garden order for next summer. I won't be melting fall scents quite yet but I will move into more earthy and herbal scents probably. Melting all these fruits has me ready to move on from the genre. If you would like a review of any of these please let me know in the comments and I would be happy to oblige.

I would love for this last week of July to drag out like the sunlight on an exquisite summer evening. Once August 1st hits I will need to be brushing up on some reading and studying for work.

Even though I would like to wallow a bit more in lazy indulgent days I do look forward to the new school year. A new start. New people to meet and new beginnings. I realize to most people, the New Year starts in January, but for me it starts with the first day of school.

But before I start musing about my goals and new leaves and all that... I am going to keep my cat slippers on and my makeup off for a few more weeks. How is your July going? Are you keeping cool? What types of scents are flowing in your home?

  1. I'm taking a melting break right now. I was gone those ten days, so obviously I wasn't melting anything then, and since I've been home it's just been so hot and muggy that I haven't wanted to melt anything. I'm not really feeling an urge to either. I took a break last year about this time too, for about a month before starting up again with fall scents. The fruity summer scents just aren't my thing.

    1. It was nice being on a mini melting break too but I need to make room for my incoming fall scents. :-) The break is good. Fruity does get old quick for me too. School starts in 3 weeks!!! Soon it will be apples, apples, apples!

  2. I stopped melting for about two weeks while the temperature outside became unbearable. It's so hard keeping inside under control when you don't want to run your electricity bill up! Sigh.

Once I did start melting again, I reached immediately for my mint drawer. I won't quite melt Fall/Winter scents, but I'm anxiously awaiting cooler weather.

If it's not too late, I would love a review on TBG Pearls of the Ocean and RG Pink Peppermint Milkshake :)

    1. Sounds like we all took a break form melting recently. Mint is always perfect. I find myself melting a lot of it too. Glad I picked up more mint from SMT because I need to keep my mints stocked.

Sure thing! I will be more than happy to review those two scents. <3

I am right there with you. I am ready ready ready for fall melting. Such a cozy time of year.
