I have a holy grail all natural deodorant from Wild Roots Body Care but sadly it has not been restocked in quite some time. That put me back in the market for one I could more easily replace. I was scrolling through some indie groups online and saw a haul post from Felin Lune Apothecary that included a deodorant paste. I quickly picked up a 2 ounce jar for $14 in the scent Garden Hippie (Ylang ylang, patchouli, orange, lavender, sandalwood, and jasmine essential oils). This paste is aluminum and baking soda free. It is soft, creamy yet firm, and putty-like. It spreads easily and melts beautifully into the skin. I have been using it for over a month now and I find that it neutralizes odor very well. It doesn't irritate my skin, it doesn't pill up, and it lasts all day.
It is my new holy grail. There are smaller one ounce travel tins for $8 that I plan on buying to try other scents too. I am looking forward to sampling other products as well. Have you tried anything from Felin Lune?
Ohh, I'll have to check this out!! <3
ReplyDeleteMy pits sorely miss Wildroots deo, don't even get me started! :(
I've just been using a brand from Target that works pretty well, but I do usually reapply.
I know you are just as sad, if not more, than I am about Wildroots. I know you introduced me to her amazing products. I know she is doing ok. I see her post once in a while in her stories but not much about her goods. The burn out is real though. It has to take a lot out of one to be a maker. Finding a GOOD reliable natural deodorant is seriously a task. But I am good with this one. I even ordered a couple more of the sample tins to make sure I have some in backup.
DeleteYay for back up deodorants!! :D lol
DeleteI think Wildroots has the ol containers, supplies, raw ingredients issues that most small vendors have been faced with as of late. :(
