Still in love.
I placed a favored scripture in the front to remind me of things I can sometimes forget....
Also in the front is an extended at-a-glance calender. I used a highlighter to, well, highlight a few important dates.
I am not always a simple gal. But with a planner I kind of need to be. Only because I write in it everyday, usually at work, and on the fly. Themed stickers or washi tape is not easily added to my planner use routine. I did use and enjoy the colored stickers that came with the planner. I tend to get the most use out of the monthly calendar. I used the stickers of the same colors for things that were recurring: such as paydays, fire drills, or workshops. Other times I used a color simply because I liked it.
The weekly/daily breakdown is a tool I am training myself to use. I like it for daily tasks I have at work that are minuscule to put on the monthly calendar, but that I still need to do. Like call parents to confirm conferences.
In the back of the planner lies a hefty "Notes" section. This is a great place for keeping track of orders, passwords (for work, not personal), or planning events.
In the very back of the planner, there is storage of sorts. A ziptop bag and double pocketed folder. In the folder I keep items that I need to shuffle between work and home.
This planner also comes with a perpetual calendar and contacts booklet. All the birthdays/anniversaries/information you carry over each year can be put in here and easily transferred to other places. I like this guy. A clever idea.
If you have any questions about the planner at all feel free to ask! Sign up for the Erin Condren newsletter to get $15 off your order. Hope you have a beautiful day! I should have some Glitterati arriving today or tomorrow hopefully <3
Gah, planner envy. I don't use a planner but will think about this or a good ol' black and white one for 2015. I'm wondering if I would be more motivated to be organized with something beautiful to write in.
ReplyDeleteLovely scripture!! <3
Thank you Jean! I think a good planner is a step in the right direction for organization. :-) can't hurt at any rate right? Unfortunately, if I don't write it down I forget it, if I write it down I MAY remember. I wrote down a class I take Wednesday nights in there and yet at 7pm my sister is calling asking where I am. Oops.
DeleteI just love your planner. The front cover is so cool, so you! I like your handwriting, by the way! :)
ReplyDeleteI have yet to buy one with the coupon you gave me, I am so indecisive about the cover. Gotta get on that before the end of the month!!
Thank you Lauren <3 she has some great designs doesn't she?! I love Sunnee's too. The graphics are lovely.
DeleteIs it refillable? or do you have to buy a brand new planner every year?
ReplyDeleteAh my sweet Ashley. For the price, it should be refillable. Alas, it is not. However, I will tuck this away in my closet once it is done. I could never bring myself to throw it away.
DeleteI did get the 18 month, so at least I have time yet. And of course London is neatly blocked off in there. A few times.
DeleteThat cover is beautiful & definitely you!! I haven't used a planner in years but I probably should -- I'm running out of room in my brain, LOL!! I do have a calendar in the kitchen where I keep track of appts & the girls' school stuff, so I'm kind of organized. I'm envious of your organization! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you Tricia! I am ok at organization on paper but my mind forgets things that are not part of my routine easily. My home organization is a little rough too. If you decide to go the planner route, there are a ton of cute and functional ones out there!
