What yummy scents they all were! Let's look at my first Christmas basket of the season.

CFTKR- Twigs and Berries
CFTKR- Mulled Wine
CFTKR- Fig and Cassis
CFTKR- Christmas Wassail
Dessa's Homespun Scents- Smoky Mountain Berries

Another CFTKR heavy basket. I am sure you know by now that I love Carol's holiday offerings. If you would like me to review any of these scents, please let me know which ones and I would be happy to do so!

I have been waiting for ages to post this adorable Gryffindor snowman that lives in Hogsmeade. How cute is he and his wee owl companion?

How are your holidays beginning?

We bought the tree last night and today we will decorate it. The girls have started enjoying the advent calendar and our nightly Christmas book reading. I think the house is pretty much decorated and ready. I just need to find a way to hang our stockings. I was thinking one of those stocking stands for the floor.

I still have a few more presents to buy but I am pretty much ready to start wrapping and baking and sipping eggnog and peppermint teas.

What are most looking forward to this month?

P.S. Bath & Body Works is having their $8.50 candle sale today!

  1. I'm most looking forward to my time off work, as usual, at the end of the year. I always save a chunk of my vacation time to use just before Christmas thru New Year's.

Hope you post pics of your tree and decorations! I'm going to redo all of my decorating this weekend. If I'm satisfied this time I'll get some pics posted. lol

    1. I love that you can do that. I hope it proves to be a relaxing and fun time.

Ok! I will! We just got the lights on but I think we will put the ornaments up tonight. Good for you. I would like a tour pretty please to see what you picked out to display. I will do a tour too. I should now since I just cleaned but we are about to head to the mall to check out that candle sale.

  2. Oh, if a crafty person would make HP house snowmen with owls - they'd have all $$!
    Hope you're having a sweet b-day weekend!

    1. They would have my money for sure!!!! Thank you! I am! Dinner last night with my step-mom and two sisters then today just hanging with my husband and girls. Then Sunday brunch with my mom and other sister after church then Tuesday on my birthday Adam is taking me out to a restaurant I have been wanting to try for a hot date night. A nice weekend for sure! And hey! The weather is nice too!! Moderate in the mid to low 70's and chilly at night (chilly equals anything in the 60-50's).
