Rosegirls: Mario Pre-Order

November 10th, Jenny opened up for various scents, mostly Mario scents, for pre-order with about a 6 week Turn Around Time. Rosegirls creates some scents that I just have to get when they release, like Peppermint Coconut Marshmallow. This time I believe she was open for a few days for order placement, which was fabulous. At one point I had my cart full to bursting, but then common sense took over and I trimmed it down to the bare bones. I may regret having done that.

I love Rosegirls' new branding (the wax seal is rather clever), labels and bags. Some reported having their bags open or torn but mine all arrived just fine.

Star of Wonder, Star of Night blends Serendipity and Strawberry Euphoria (which I want to say is a blend of strawberries and cream and maybe strawberry jam or another strawberry or two from Rosegirls) to utter perfection. The creamy coconut and cherry concoction that is serendipity is taken to a new mouth watering level by the Strawberry Euphoria. Technicolor strawberries, Starburst and strawberry flavored Fanta collide with serendipity to fashion one lively fruity scent. These bags were $10.00. (8.0 ounces)

Cold Winter's Day melds together birchwood, vanilla, nag champa, vetiver, tonka bean and bergamot for one seriously cozy scent. This ultimately smells like an upscale nag champa. More woods, a touch of smoke from the vetiver and a plushness from the tonka and bergamot, but with nag champa surrounding it all. I should have bought the two packs I had in my cart. If anyone reading this cares to destash theirs, hit me up. I paid $7.00 for these two muffins, which usually give me two melts per muffin. (5.4 ounces total)

Spearmint Swizzle Sticks is a favorite. More sweet than minty, but divine all the same. Rosegirls' Swizzle Sticks makes anything smell better. In the past I have described it as a clear vanilla hard candy sweetness. Love it. (8.1 ounces)

A half pie in Peppermint Coconut Marshmallow.  Yes, ma'am. Bracing, sweet candy canes grounded by rich marshmallow smoothie and the best coconut fragrance out there. Gilligan's Brew makes my heart flutter, neither too bakery nor too suntan lotion, but the perfect mellow sweet coconut. The half pies were $20.00 each. (16.5 ounces, just over a pound)

Did you partake of the Rosegirls bounty? Having wee muffins back in my life, and pie slices too, reignite my flame for wax. Now to get to melting them.

P.S. Happy Birthday Deb!! <3

  3. Back in October I bought mini melts in Peppermint, Gilligan's Brew, and Marshmallow Smoothie just so I could recreate Peppermint Coconut Mallow. One of my favorite blends!

    1. Oooooo!! Did it come out the way you remembered?! I may have to try that when the mini melters come back. But I never really did have much luck trying to recreate blends. I used to think Jenny added some magic or something. I love PCM too. So nice to have it again. Though I do miss the $28 whole pie days. LOL! I know she has to make a living, and inflation and all that. I sound like an old lady.

  4. I had a couple torn new bags, and even if they arrived intact they seem to tear easily in handling.

Star of Wonder, Star of Night caught my eye most out of this order. I've been craving old school scents like Serendipity lately. I have two small chunks of Peppermint Coconut Mallow that I'm apparently hoarding. I put them in my Christmas stash because of the mint, but I keep grabbing other things when I go for something to melt. I'll hesitate over the PCM and then think 'No, not yet.' LOL

Thank you for the birthday greetings!

    1. I saw a few issues with them. I bet Jenny will take care of it fast though. She pays attention to her customers.

YES! Star of Wonder took me right back to the old days. Hoarding and buying up all the RG I could. Muffin Club days. The Golden Days. <3 LOL! Hey now. Melt that PCM. It should be nice and cured by now.

I hope you had a wonderful day.

  5. Excellent order. Right now I'm melting Star of Wonder, but it was a toss-up between it and Peppermint Coconut Mallow (my *ahem* two half-pies.) I bought, oh, a few more blends; I shall have to give them the blog treatment after the holidays.
