Warmed Wax: SMT, LSC, PFoP, TBG, VCS

The Bathing Garden- Alice Dressed In Gold is a dupe for Lush Sultana and it is beautiful. Sometimes Shannon has been known to name this Ophelia in Gold as well. It threw a strong heady bouquet of jasmine and woods and sophisticated opulence around my home for half a day. I would repurchase again... and again... and again.

Pocket Full of Peonies- Dirty, a Lush dupe for... well... Dirty. It threw medium-strong in my bedroom and smelled of clean, aquatic toothpaste. Not overly minty but more like AquaFresh or something along those lines. I would repurchase.

Vintage Chic Scents- Mamma Mia! Still one of my favorite blends Kirby does. It threw medium-strong in the living room and kitchen. This gardenia and coconut blend ushers in spring and summer in the best possible way. I am so bummed to be out of this scent with none on the horizon. I have zero luck ordering from VCS and I try all the time. This last opening I was gunning for the Sweeney Todd sampler and nope. No dice. Sometimes I think of throwing in the towel on trying to order from VCS. But if I ever get lucky enough... yes, I would repurchase.

Lasting Scent Candles- Pink Petit Fours the most scrumtrulescent blend of heavy vanilla cakes and frosting with a sprinkle of Pink Sugar on top. Strong throw, crept out of my bedroom and into the living room strong. Repurchase. Hoping LSC's next opening has pink blends.

Sniff My Tarts- Sweet Lavender Marshmallow Cake/Pink Coconut/Marshmallow Noel threw medium-strong and smelled creamy sweet and lovely. Liz and I were lamenting some of our luck with SMT's other lavender blends but this one rarely disappoints. Repurchase.

Speaking of Sniff My Tarts, they are opening for custom loaves here soon. Once I get a date I will post about it. Amy mentioned being able to buy four loaves in either 16 ounces ($16.20) or 24 ounces ($23.80) with a TAT of about 8 weeks. I am totally hopping on that as I noticed my mints, lavenders and pinks drawer is dwindling. And I really want a vanilla marshmallow heavy blend.

And speaking of Sniff My Tarts again.... again.... my name was called for the opening. I am stoked thinking about my order being on deck. It was on the smallish side with five iced cookies, two no-fuss chunks blends and three piped hearts but I tried some new blends and fruity scents so it will be fun to see how they turned out.

Will you be ordering any SMT loaves?

  1. Wow Alice dressed in gold is beautiful! You sold me on the picture alone!
I'm hoping lsc has pink sugar blends soon too. Her pink sugar is my absolute favorite.
Can't wait to see your review on your smt custom order!

I totally agree! LSC and SMT are my pink sugar vendors. I am excited to get my SMT and even place my loaf order. I loved seeing your blends on FB.

  2. Sounds like a winning set of melts! Not that I'm biased because I specifically asked for a review on almost all of these or anything... ;)
The VCS openings are no joke! I don't know how Kirby does it time after time.

Once Amy and Donna post a specific date on their loaves sale I will start figuring out if it's something I want to participate in. I'm hoping that my custom order comes in before then so I can know what I want more of off the bat.

I can't wait to see what you ordered from SMT!

    1. It was! And as you know.... Not all tarts are winners. But you picked good ones :-) Thank you! I really really wish her openings were more accessible. It has been several months to a year since I have been able to order. And I do want to grab a few favorites ( just like everyone else I am sure!) Ah well.

SO STOKED for my SMT order. I plan on a mint loaf, a pink loaf, a vanilla heavy loaf and a wild card.
