Fall Fun Series: Autumn Body Care

I had dreams of this post containing a few favorites for fall: FuturePrimitive soaps, Haus of Gloi Pumpkin Butters and a whipped soap or glace' from Solstice Scents but time got away from me and I missed most of the things I was eyeing and look... now the Yule releases are being announced! In the end I did grab these two soaps from FuturePrimitive. These two soaps from her Autumn Release are long gone but she does have some incredible sounding Halloween soaps on clearance, including one named Eleven that houses notes of spruce, fir and vanilla that honors "Stranger Things."

Owlett's End is an old favorite of mine. I love the rustic chai spices and scrubby nature of this soap. I don't even bother cutting slivers, I want all the soap to satisfy that dry weather itch. In fact, this is my current bar in rotation by the bath tub. I will be honest. The single black eyed pea and wheat head made me order it in the first place many moons ago. I tickles me that Tiggy still makes them this way.

I don't recall having tried Pumpkin 'ead before now. It has a pretty mellow scent of caramel and amber with woods and a hint of pumpkin to my nose. I love it.

So those are the contents of my meager but lovely fall body care stash. I did use up my Bathing Garden Pumpkin and Toxic Earth scrubs.

Wax melts I am loving:
Universal Voodoo Wayward Gravy
FuturePrimitive Pumpkin Eater
Beezy Amish Quilt
CFTKR Caramel Spice

Do you wear fall body scents? Tomorrow Carol will be opening at Candles From The Keeping Room, will you order? I plan on trying to squeeze in a Christmas tart order. Did you order from Rosegirls yesterday? I had to grab a half pie in Peppermint Coconut Mallow and a bag or two and a muffin. I did behave. I had quite the cart going buy pulled back. This time of year I try to focus my budget on gift giving since I do pretty well spoiling myself the rest of the year.

Have a nice weekend, friends.

  1. I do indeed use fall scents in body products. I had to give up the pumpkin marshmallow whatever from BBW and switch back to the Purrfect Pumpkin one. The marshmallow one just doesn't have any scent in the shower. The fragrance mist is uber weak too.

I didn't even know RG was opening. Was it customs this time? And I work tomorrow so I'll miss CFTKR too. Oh well, I probably have enough Christmas scents already.

    1. Pooh sticks. Sorry the pumpkin marshmallow (latte?) was too light in body care. I hate when that happens. Makes it pointless. Normally BBW shower gels have decent throw. I love using them for bubble baths.

No customs, just pre-order of certain scents. Kinda like she's been doing it lately. Peppermint Coconut Mallow reeled me in just like old times. Let me know if you want anything from CFTKR tomorrow. I can pick it up for you.

    2. I have no idea what she (CFTKR) has these days and since we're not allowed to browse I guess I'll never know. Or has that rule changed and we can browse before an opening?

    3. You could browse all the way up until the night before. She shuts it down so she can load it and make sure everything is ready to go. Her scent lists are in the group if you want to look and see what is stocked.

  2. I'm finding myself reaching constantly for Conjure Dark by Solstice Scents this season. It's so perfect for this time of year. Thank you the lovely post as always xx

    1. I adore Conjure. I have been wanting to try Conjure Dark in the EDP. I have fallen hard for Angela's EDP formulas. I have a hankering to try your new EDP's as well. Those and your soaps are on my radar for Yule. Thank you for stopping by Tiggy! I hope you are feeling better and have a good weekend. <3

  3. Those soaps sound amazing! I haven't ordered from FP in years and your post makes me want to order again. I'm skipping this Rosegirls opening and I'm unsure about the CFTKR since I really only want one thing and now the site is down and I have no idea what else is available.

    1. Yes! They are. If you like a little scrubby to your soap you would love Owlett's End. I try to look for it every fall. She has Ollivander's Wand coming out for Yule and I am about to pee my pants getting excited for it. Potter nerd probs. I have skipped out on several of the last RG openings but I had to have my PCM. I miss it terribly and no one does coconut like Jenny. Yeah. Carol closes the site until morning so she can get it all in order. Especially now since she has cut back on help and is trying to slow down. If you want something let me know! I can get it for you if I get lucky. <3

  4. I'm not huge on bar soaps but I do have a few, and those scents sound wonderful! I'm a sucker for chai. Between bars, scrubs, body washes and whipped soaps, I never know what to use in the shower, haha!

    1. I went for years and years just using shower gel. I blame the 90's rage for BBW. But once I ordered my first artisan bar soap I could not look back. Adam only uses bar soap exclusively while I do still dabble in whipped soaps and such. I love chai too. The comfort and spiciness is always warming. LOL! I hear you!!! Sometimes I will use a bar soap to clean, then a whipped soap to moisturize and a scrub all in one shower and Adam is like "didn't you JUST wash up?! Why are you doing it again?!" Because I want to smell good and be extra soft. <3

  5. Those soaps are beyond...and Ollivander's wand you say? When might the Yule soaps be in store?

  6. Oh, those soaps are so pretty. Lovely. And I DID order from Rosegirls - you are correct, that Peppermint Coconut Mallow is too delicious (and rarely-made!) to pass up. I actually bought a whole pie, shh, tell no one. My particular problem/not-a-problem is I love RG's Raspberry Sauce scent, and it was in about five of the different blends on offer. I also apparently needed all of them! I regret nothing!

    1. Sa-weet!!! I thought about getting a whole pie and I bet I will be regretting NOT making the prime choice to do so. But if you ever feel like unloading a slice I can pay >_< I appreciate the RG raspberry sauce too and their Gilligan's Brew. Mmmmm....

Happy you treated yourself! I did just that with CFTKR. Man my fingers are itching to rip that huge box open. #regretnothing
