If you would like me to review any of these please drop a line... if you can. For some weird reason Blogger is acting like a Pistol Pete. I have had a few people comment recently and I get the email notification but for some reason it won't show up on the post at all! Ugh. Jay asked for my opinion on the Barrett Wax Snoozy Melt but I couldn't really pick it up in the large area I melted it in. The light scent I did get was a pleasant herbal mint but maybe I should have tried it in my bedroom. Not a repurchase for me.

So hey! I'm back! Thank you for not shunning me if I have not replied to IG or FB or been by to read and comment on your blog or text you, message you and in general have been ghosting. I was spending every waking moment I wasn't working, trying to complete my assignments for school. I finished my last one Friday (by midnight! yay!) and now freeeedommmmmm!

Now I will be waiting to see what my final grade is (I must get a "C" or better to get my certificate renewed) and enjoying my evenings and cooking dinner and all those things I have been neglecting.

My low buy is trucking along pretty well. I did make a four clamshell purchase from Geek Fire Labs. I also picked up two or three tiny plants to add to my porch. Savanna wanted a pitcher plant and I saw a couple ferns I wanted. Scarlette chose a Dusty Miller.

My birds say "hello!" and this adorable tiny Yellow Throated Warbler is the cutest thing ever. After I chase off the squirrels he immediately flies over to partake of the grub with me standing right there. I did pick up a refurbished zoom lens and that makes me happy.

So how have you been since I have been gone? What did I miss??

    1. Hi Shorzie! I would be honored. I will start melting and noting them for review for you in a few days. I will say up front that I tend to enjoy most of Dessa's blends and her wax and Amber at TDC makes some amazing scents too. If you want to search for past reviews, try looking at my website in desktop format and search for Dessa or TDC using the search bar or the labels. I will review these ones in the basket for you still, of course, but just wanted you to know I have a ton more if you are interested. <3 Both have quick TATs (especially TDC) and great prices.

  2. It's been soooooo boring since you abandoned all of us. Well it has been for me at least, since I have such a tiny social circle. Glad you're back, glad you soldiered through your classes, and confident you'll pass with flying colors! I mean, seriously, what have you ever failed at?!

I like that little birdie! I don't think those are around here. We have some similar looking ones but not with yellow throats. Looking forward to more feathered friend pics. :)

    1. I am sorry!!! I know I have been majorly sucky but I hope those sucky days are over!!! So far I have an "A" but she still hasn't graded my final project. As long as I get a "C" or above I will get credit and will have earned my certificate back. I have failed at many things my friend >cough :wax making: cough< but thank you for the vote of confidence!!

Isn't he so handsome? I think he knows it. He is super tiny too. You probably have the black and white warblers around you then. I saw one of those for the first time the other day. Such cool looking fellas. Did I tell you I am documenting every bird I encounter this year and posting it at the end? I am trying to take photos when I can and look up ones I don't recognize but it can be hard. Especially when you are Googling "tiny brown bird with yellow in Florida". About a billion things come up. Ah! Trying!

  3. CONGRATSSSSS!! Welcome back to the world! I know that has to be a big weight lifted off your shoulders. Fingers crossed that everything will go smoothly.
I am confident that you knocked that project out of the park.
So happy that you have found a new hobbie that also is a wonderful stress relief. Cant wait to see more pictures!

    1. Thank you so much Jessica!! It is nice to not have all that school work waiting on me when I get home from work, on my lunch breaks and all weekend long. I ended up making the grade I needed in both courses so that thrilled me.
I love my birds! I am bummed now though, that so many squirrels have taken over my yard. I bought a birdfeeder pole with a squirrel baffle but now my birds won't eat from it and I miss my little buddies. Ah well. I'll figure something out. :-)
