La Petite Ferme Goat Milk Soaps

These lovely little chunks of La Petite Ferme Goat Milk Soaps reached me via my friend Jean as a gift. I love that this vendor is another Florida based gem. The owners, Patricia and Michel, create cold process soaps using the milk from their Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats. Their soaps can be used as shampoo bars or shaving bars too. Patricia is not only a dairy goat farmer and soaper but she is also a licensed aesthetician and reiki practitioner.

Amber Sandalwood is scrumptious. Heady amber accord that reminds me a little of leather and musk, blended with golden honeyed woods. Makes me want to lather up and take a bath right now. A 2.5 ounce bar is $4 and a 5 ounce bar is $6.75.

CHI SensiClear Facial soap is formulated with soft exfoliants to help aid sensitive and acne prone skin types. Citrus Sinensis and Citrus Paradisi essential oils, Dead Sea clay and rosehip powder are some of the skin loving ingredients found in this bar. A 2.5 ounce bar is $4.50 and the 5 ounce bar is $8.00. This face soap lathers beautifully, bubbling and frothy. The soft grains of clay exfoliate gently if using the bar directly on the face. I like to get the lather in my hands and use that wash my face too if not in the mood to exfoliate. It cleans thoroughly and rinses clean. There is a slight tightness but I lather up with serums, ampoules and lotions anyway. This is my current face soap in my shower.

Dragon's Blood blends amber, myrrh, sandalwood and a touch of patchouli. It smells fantastic. Deep, rich and loamy with earth and resins, this scent relaxes and soothes. A 2.5 ounce bar is $4.00 and a 5 ounce bar is $6.75. This is soap is a dream to bathe with, lathering wonderfully with a little hand friction. It slides silky and mild over the skin to clean and perfume the body. Swarms of bubbles grow and fizz from this bar of delight.

La Petite also offers soap bundles and sample sets.

There are tons of scents to choose from and various formulas as well. I will definitely be back for more. Thank you Jean for sharing these soaps and this vendor with me.

Are you a fan of goat's milk soap?

  1. Heee, you know I'm a fan of goat milk soap. =) Those prices are pretty darn good too. I think I sold mine for $4.00 and I was on the cheap end. *sigh* These posts make miss those good ol' days.

    1. I didn't know that you use to make soap Deb, What stopped you from making it? No I've never tried goats milk soap but I've heard tons of rave reviews about it. Though I believe I have possibly tried it in a homemade scrub once? Glad patchouli is getting love from someone because it is sure not getting any love from me :D

    2. Yes! Deb makes incredible soaps! I thought they were pretty affordable too for being so lovely and well made.

LOL! Yes, Jessica... I will take ALL the patchoulis!! I am one dirty girl. Well... not anymore with my great new soaps... but I still love that earthy tang. They offer a lot of prettier scent too. Jean just knows I love my earthy ones.

    3. I had an Etsy shop from 2009-2011 (or so) but gave up soap making because I also work full-time outside the home and it all just got to be too much. I did enjoy it though!

  2. Pretty book page backdrop and those sudsy shots, oh yes!- you should do advertising. Ya know I'm just started to get into the Goat Milk products, paired with the scrubby exfoliation of sugar scrubs, it's a nice soothing finisher:)

    1. Thank you! As much as I love my laminate flooring... after staring at it for the past (almost!) three years on the blog I am trying to shake things up a little bit. This was a falling apart Harper's Bazaar from 1890 that was given to me, so I use the pages that are falling out as props. Jay... it is such a cool book to read! The cartoons, poems and short stories and art are all amazing.

The goat's milk really is soothing! I keep seeing all this fabulous Dirty Goat stuff floating around too but every time I go to get something that catches my eye, it is *poof* gone. One day. The deodorant for sure.

    2. An old Harper's Bazaar, how neat! I just discovered a digitized newspaper collection called Chronicling America which has copies of newspapers from 1789-1924, you should check it out, great primary sources for students too! I went hog wild looking up interests at work yesterday including Billy the Kid turning himself in and Babe Ruth's home runs, it's easy w/an item search. I'm not supposed to be on personal websites at work (shh, sometimes I am though) but it's reference/info related so I can dive into it when I have time:)
I read TDG hired some packing help, I hope this allows for more product availability...Erica's deodorant is a must for me.

    3. How cool!!! I love reading old articles like that. History while it was being made.

That is great news! She has been so successful I figured it was about time for her to expand a little. Her products look amazing.
