Holy Snails Skin Care: Shark Sauce

My friend and fellow beauty blogger, Victoria at Vividly Victoria, showcased this little bit of lovely on one of her IG stories and I messaged her asking about the weeny bottle of cuteness. It turned out to be a bottle of Shark Sauce from Holy Snails

Shark Sauce does not contain any shark based materials... that just happens to be its name. But this 30 ml, $29.00 squeeze bottle of goodness does contain vitamin B3, N-Acetyl Glucosamine (which work together to fight hyper pigmentation), vitamin B5, licorice root, green tea extracts, hyaluronic acid, sodium lactate (AHA), and sea kelp bioferment. This serum/ampoule works to even skin tone, moisturize, brighten and strengthen the skin barrier.

I have been using this serum twice a day, every day for the past two weeks or so and my skin enjoys it. I have noticed a lightening and smoothing of my skin in a subtle manner. Some older and smaller acne scarring has lightened enough that when I apply the Thank You Farmer Make Up Base and then my NARS Tinted Moisturizer, my skin looks pretty decent with the exception of newer acne scars. I am happy to have this in my skin care regime. I may need to splurge for the Whale Shark or even the Megalodon bottle of this saucy sauce when this one runs out.

  1. Such a creative name! I am going to have to get better about skin care but as of now I am just sliding by with doing the bare minimal of putting on basic makeup, makeup removing and moisturizing. Too many fancy and fun products to choose from! The other day I just went into an Ulta for the first time and will admit to being completely overwhelmed. ha-ha.

    1. Isn't it cute? I love how it feels on the skin. Probably in the past year or so I really got into experimenting with my skin care. It can be overwhelming for sure! I love sampling but I right now I am loving Asian skincare.
