Valhalla: Clamshell Order

This will be a short and sweet showcase of the clamshell order I placed with Valhalla following on the heels of my single scent order. The ones I fell in love with the most got ordered in clams.

The clamshells cost $3.75 each. The scents I ordered include: Oak, Ash & Thorne, Norseman, Vnailla Luxe, Elf Cakes, Pendragon's Passion, Hedonistic and Masala Chai.

I was sent a sample of Valkyrie wax and body whip (which is heavy on the cocoa butter which I love but left in the sunlight and it broke down... oops), and a soap sliver in HomeKoming that smells deep and calming of earth, fresh air, woods and ocean.

Deb talked me into watching Vikings on the History Channel and I am loving it. Adam and I are actually watching it together which is a rarity. I love that I can geek out and melt these Viking scents while we watch it on the TV as well.

  1. I got really excited about this post and it's funny yet again because I haven't ordered from Valhalla in forever, and their scents are those sophisticated earthy blends that I'm usually too chicken to try anyway.

And yay for watching the show! I've embraced hubby's Scandinavian ancestry because it's so much more unique than the usual German and Irish in my own background. lol

    1. Try their Elf Cakes or Vanilla Luxe! Those are pretty tame bakery and vanilla scents.

I am fascinated by the culture and lifestyle. German and Irish is cool too. Adam's is Irish, French and Hungarian. Mine is the usual American melting pot of Indian, French, English, German and so on. I would love to visit Germany one day like you did.

    2. What I'd really like to do is a ton of family research and then be able to go back to Germany or to Ireland or wherever and visit those areas that these ancestors came from. I do think I'm going to try getting back into genealogy this year. It's been a long time since I've put any effort into that.

    3. That would be so cool! Would you share it with us? I am always curious about mine too. That would moving to walk around the same places your ancestors did. Plus. Ireland and Germany? Yes, please.

    4. Share the genealogy results? If I manage to accomplish anything, sure. Right now I just need to re-enter all the information I already have, into a new family tree program since the one I used to use is old and unsupported now. Ugh.

  2. Oooo, those clamshells are pretty! If I remember the scent descriptions correctly, I think I'm most excited about Masala Chai. Is it weird that I can be excited about your order? :)
