My dear friend Tricia, who blogs book reviews with a team of ladies HERE loaned me the coolest book ever. She got me hooked on the author, Maggie Stiefvater through the Raven Boys Cycle (book 3 comes out in October! >geeky fist pump<). After I read those I moved onto Shiver, book one of the Wolves of Mercy Falls, by the same author. Sinner is the 4th and last book in this series. Tricia gets her books from an independent bookstore in Virginia, I believe, because they send out autographed copies. This latest release also came with an extra book cover bearing the author's own artwork (she also sings and play music as well, a regular Renaissance lady). These books are full of Young Adult fun. I am quite happy with how this series wrapped up and love Cole and Isabel's story. Let's Explore Diabetes with Owls is what I am reading now. How about you? Any good books on your radar or in your life right now?

LOVE that color! It is gorgeous, perfect for a transition from summer to fall, IMO. Love the bottles on these polishes, I still need to get to Walmart and Target and try to find some of the ones I have seen on Instagram! Thank you for sharing, your pictures look so pretty. <3
ReplyDeleteThank you <3 I agree, it is a nice fall/winter shade. I hope you can find them too but not Wintergreen ;-) that one is already yours.
DeleteOh I feel honored that you mentioned me (& my copy of Sinner) on your blog! Seriously! Very cool! Oh and that is a pretty nail color too!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting me read it! I am kinda sad that Cole & Isabel are wrapped now. But the next Raven Boy book will tide me over. I need more Gansey in my life.
DeleteScented nail polish?!?! Fun!! Just looked them up, i think i might hunt down autumn spice or African tea :-)
ReplyDelete<3 my love!!!! Of course you have great taste and picked amazing colors. The duochrome finish of Autumn Spice is gorgeous. If you can't find them let me know. You will need a Welcome-To-Japan package.
DeleteWhat a pretty color! I've written off glitter but a little 'shimmer' never hurt anyone!
ReplyDeleteAnd wow, that author is very talented --love that artwork!
I can understand about the glitter. It is still fun for me to wear but the removal and glitter spread can be bothersome.
DeleteMaggie does have multiple talents for sure. She is funny in her you tube videos too.
