Fall Friday: Sihaya & Company Pumpkin Juice Candle

I featured Sihaya & Company's Butterbeer candle earlier this week and I figured for my first Fall Friday post I would talk a little about the other candle in Christina's Wizarding Collection, Pumpkin Juice.

Pumpkin Juice- Notes: A sweet beverage of yummy pumpkin tinged with oak-barrel cider and a whisper of caramel. $12

I loved Butterbeer, and Pumpkin Juice is just as nice. The apple cider and caramelized pumpkin play together well, each giving way to the other to create a delicious autumnal treat. There are minimal spices. I love that the Pumpkin Juice bottle looks exactly like the ones at the Wizarding World. I have ordered Pumpkin Juice several times and I must say that this is a cool rendition of that aroma, if a touch more rich since at Universal it is mostly apple juice. I would rather drink this one to be honest.

I would absolutely buy this again (and I just might!).

This weekend I am think about baking an apple pie. Normally I have done so by now but we all know I am behind this year. I have the apples and the ingredients waiting in the fridge and pantry. Have you made any fall treats? What do you like to make or bake about this time of year? Have you ever had Pumpkin Juice? Do you like it?

  1. More glittery goodness. Nice!

I have not had Pumpkin Juice since I don't know where to get it way up here in the boonies? Is it a thing outside Wizarding World? I've never checked.

Fall treats...wellllll... I tried a different Rice Krispie bar recipe and used maple flavored marshmallows. Fail. The extra butter and marshmallow just settled to the bottom and stayed a wet gooey mess. I tried whipping up a box of Cinnamon Streusel muffins. Fail. I left them in "just a minute more" and they burned. It's becoming almost comical. What fabulous fall treat can I ruin next?!

    1. You know. I don't think it is a thing anywhere. LOL!!! I have only had it at Universal.

Hahahahaa!!! I am so sorry!!! But I can't help but giggle. I have had those fall fails too. I tried my hand at an apple tart and it was burnt to a crisp. I want to bake and apple pie so bad but I don't know when I will get to it. Hopefully soon. Those apples aren't getting any younger. Did you ever make those haystacks? With like melted butterscotch chips and cereal? I was thinking about those the other day.

    2. Butterscotchy haystacks, you say? I am not familiar with these! I'm off to Google it.

  2. To my mind, pumpkin juice should sort of smell and taste like Apple Clove Butter candles (just, you know, edible!) Actually, it contains zippo pumpkin, but at the Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom, they have this warm, creamed hard cider drink that is groan-worthy. It's not very boozy, and it kind of tastes like apple pie in a glass. THAT to me is pumpkin juice-y, even though, you know, no pumpkin.

    1. Ooooooooh yes. That sounds incredible. I agree about the Apple Clove Butter thing. Gosh that is simply one of my favorite scents ever. I need to get to the Magic Kingdom. And I need to take the girls. I wish they had a virgin rendition of that drink. I would be ALL OVER IT. Maybe I could try to make some at home with a sparkling cider?
