719 Walnut Avenue: Caramel Cinnamon Roll Candle

Caramel Cinnamon Roll from 719 Walnut Avenue burned well. I am always surprised, as their wicks are spindly and the flame teeny as a wee babe. The throw on this one was a nice medium to medium-strong in the kitchen. It pooled like a champion. I am a tad disappointed with the lack of cinnamon in this (as it is in the name) but if it were called Caramel Buns it would be on point. I understand that maybe the company wishes to keep the spices tame, as some are sensitive to spice, but I LOVE spice. And if spice is in the name, gimme spice. I enjoyed this candle and look forward to trying more scents. This probably would not be a repurchase for me though. I need more spice.

  1. We've been loving the 719 candles this fall, and are anxious to dive into the winter scents. It's funny though, because we don't buy these during the spring or summer. Well, I guess we really don't burn candles much during spring and summer so I guess it makes sense. Nevermind me. lol

    1. They are really nice!! I am enjoying burning them too. It's funny you mention candle seasons. I kind of want to up my spring and summer candle burning, at least around my bathing ritual.

  2. This particular candle never landed at any of the five (count 'em) FIVE Walmarts in my area. I'm wondering if it has a lot of caramel as I typically don't care for this fragrance too much. If so, I'd feel better about not snagging one!

    1. Count yourself safe ;-) it is indeed heavy on the caramel Kevin. Sorry about not being able to find it though and tell for yourself. Hope you have been well!

  3. This was one of my fall favorites! Glad you enjoyed it. I agree that it wasn't heavy on the spice, but since my hubby is sensitive to it, it was a great option for us! In the case of candles that don't quite live up to my expectations I usually melt a complimentary scented strong tart along with it.

    1. Yes this is perfect for spice sensitive folks. But a disappointment for spice lovers with cinnamon on the label. I melt coordinating scents with candles too. I am very picky about scents complimenting each other. :-)

  5. Ooh this looks like another good one! I love caramel scents and cinnamon scents! Too bad the cinnamon scent wasn't as strong though.

    1. That was the only drawback for sure. Needed cinnamon! But as a caramel scent it was grand!

  6. Cinnamon rolls don't have an overwhelming cinnamon taste or smell. There was just the perfect amount. This candle cannot be found anywhere anymore, I have been holding off burning the last of mine for a year. Best smell I've ever found candle wise. I wish they'd bring it back

    1. I agree! It is a super mellow but pleasing scent. And I have been keeping an eye out for it too with no luck. I am happy you have one more on hand to enjoy!! I hope they make more in the future. <3 Happy holidays! And thanks for stopping by!

  7. Since my wife has successfully fought a battle with cancer in 2005, she has asked for very little. We both know and believe that God has blessed us abundantly. When she does ask I know it is something special to her. It always starts with "when you are on your computer," and I then know I need to try to do my best to search and try to provide whatever she is asking. Right after Christmas this year I was asked just such a question. It was about the Caramel Cinnamon Roll candle by 719 Walnut Avenue. I know that Walmart does sell this brand, but as much as I have tried to find this one scented candle I have not been able to find it. Well, I thought I would go to the source. Where, how or when can I find such a candle. Any help would be appreciated. Things change when you have cancer. Smell, taste and an array of things, just trying to help her have a better day.

    1. Jim I am so sorry to hear about your sweet wife's illness. I messaged you a link to Amazon that is for Bath and Body Work's Caramel Cinnamon Swirl that might be a good replacement for this candle. Sadly, many people are looking for this one again and it just isn't out there. I am not sure they make it any longer. I will still head to my Walmart or two about town and look for you though, just to make sure. If I had an extra one on hand I would happily mail it to you. Thinking of you and your wife....
