Atelier Cologne: Mandarine Glaciale

The vetiver in this scent makes me want to spray it all over Adam and snuggle in close. He probably would not let me so I spray it all over MYSELF and bury my nose in it. The fragrance is composed of mandarin, ginger and vetiver. Cabana boys in the Mediterranean. Do I mind smelling like a Mediterranean cabana boy? Nope. Not at all. Just don't pop me with a towel and waggle your eyebrows at me.

I am enjoying this fragrance quite a bit. I would not buy it in a larger quantity though. For one, Adam would leave me. For two, cabana boys do get old eventually. I think I need a slightly softer vetiver. Although that does seem very much like an oxymoron. Have any vetiver-centric perfume recs for me? Please do tell.

  1. Cabana boy, ha! Love me some vetiver. I only have soap recs, Zum's Ooh La Zum (smoky vetiver lavender), and Tiggy has the same combo in Cold Pillow although I preferred Zum due to its scent strength.

    1. We have Zum soap at our grocery store. I will keep a look out for that scent. I don't think I have tried Cold Pillow. Really the ginger in this I think makes the vetiver extra sharp and masculine.

  2. Vetiver by Guerlain is a classic and one of my very favorites. Smells great on a sweater in cooler weather!
