Long Cane Primitives Order

Long Cane Primitives carries a nice selection of RTS wax and good prices. Do pay attention though, when I checked out I saw it was free shipping then I got an invoice for shipping. It is clearly written on the site but I was not paying heed, my eyes went right to all the smellies and scent descriptions. I placed a small order during a sale and it shipped out in a few days.

Six pack of grubby tarts in Cinnamon Broom, regularly priced at $6, on sale for $5.10. I love the spicy explosion of hot cinnamon that comes out of these tarts. It borders on Red-Hots without being too candy sweet. Very much like my beloved holiday cinnamon brooms.

I also sprung for a ten pack Blue Ribbon Cookie Sampler that cost $10.62.

Key Lime Noel BRC (Blue Ribbon Cookie)- It smells just like Key Lime Pie filling, tart and creamy with a custard feel.

Lemon Coconut BRC- I am thinking the coconut is going to be weird for me. It has a certain dryness to it. The lemon helps sweeten and liven it up though, so this one may just work out.

Mango Lime Marshmallow BRC- The mango and lime is electric! Very strong and tart. Quite fun!

Pink Marshmallow Candy BRC- Yummy! Pink marshmallow crunchy sugar cookies always smells divine to me. This is a nice one.

Serendipity BRC- LCP has an amazing serendipity. The added cookie lends more vanilla to the tropical cherry and coconut goodness.

Cotton Candy Frosted Coconut BRC- LCP's cotton candy frosting is pretty incredible too. Thankfully the coconut is quieter here. Great scent.

French Quarter Cookies- Definitely banana in this, a touch of spice and lots of cookies.

Coconut BRC- Yeah. Not digging this particular coconut oil. I will save it for someone who might love it though. The fun of wax, every nose is different.

Noel BRC- This makes my eyes roll up in delight. A strong, creamy vanilla sugar cookie. Perfection!

Toasted Marshmallow BRC- I enjoy this one too. I *almost* swear I get the tiniest touch of campfire in this and I love it!

Free samples in:

Blue Ribbon Cookies- I love that she sent a pure Blue Ribbon Cookie. It is very much a crisp vanilla cookie with a dash of almond that makes it rich.

Blue Ribbon Birthday Cake- Adding birthday cake makes the cookie crunch softer and more like batter. MMmmm.

I am happy with my first ever Long Cane Primitive order and will definitely be back for more. It was nice doing a sampler and seeing what fragrance types I enjoy from this vendor. Have you tried a new-to-you vendor lately?

  1. I was confused in my previous comment (now deleted) and thinking LPL instead of LCP. But really, my incorrect nattering didn't really matter because I'd like to order from both, and I've enjoyed the tarts from both that my waxy friends have shared with me. LOL

You order looks and sounds quite yummy. There is just something about grubby style tarts that calls to me!

    1. That is what got me interested, gifts of LCP. The grubby look is quite pleasing. Plus I love how she labels her grubbies too. Her bakery and spices are very nice. I bet she does fall scents really well. You have me wanting to order from Dessa's!

  2. Love the beautiful pics --the tarts are almost to scale, so life like! I love this grubby shape and I especially love that LCP allows for plenty of RTS singles in perfectly sized size top baggies.
    Enjoy your order Julie!

    1. Thank you Sunnee! Michelle mentioned enlarging my pictures now that my template is different so I spent way too many hours going through old posts resizing. I didn't do them all but I did most.

I enjoy the little individual baggies too! And her label is the perfect size for the bottom of the grubby. I love it!

  3. I agree with Deb, I really like grubby tarts and they are always such a nice size to just throw into the warmers without messing around with cutting them up. Enjoy your order!

    1. Yes! Cutting is not my favorite. I am all about popping a tart into a warmer easy peasy. If RG made individual chunk cupcakes or tartlettes I would be in heaven!!

    2. RG could definitely cut their chunks down one more size but hey, we don't want their TAT to get any longer from having to make extra cuts. =P

  4. Cinnamon Broom! YES!! LOVE the look of these tarts. And this vendor is one I want to try again! I made one order from LCP and I think I waited too long to melt them, so everything just sort of....smelled waxy.

    1. Cinnamon Broom was sooooo goooood!! I will never hesitate to pick up that scent again. I have been melting through my LCP pretty fast. I only have a couple left. The scent has been pretty nice, most a solid medium throw. Some light, some stronger. Good to know about waiting too long.. Kinda like Front Porch then.
