Melting Basket 41: Last One Before Vacation

As you can tell I have been doing some heavy duty melting. I have changed out my warmers about twice a day and melted in the girls room more often than usual. Tarts from the last basket I would repurchase include the following: LSC Watermelon Wedding Cake, RG Monkey Business Fluff Puffs seriously the BEST banana bakery I have EVER smelled, CFTKR Fresh Picked Strawberry do I even need to say that?, Honeydew Melon & Marshmallow Parfait, and Summer Strawberry Taffy gulp.... I like this even more than Fresh Picked Strawberry!

Rosegirls- Warm Voodoo
Rosegirls- Sugared Jasmine & Gilligan's Brew
Rosegirls- Raspberry Sauce/Mango/White Tea muffin
Rosegirls- Lavender Marshmallow Smoothie
Rosegirls- Florida Key Lime Pie/7 Up Pound Cake/Vanilla Ice Cream <3 gift
Rosegirls- Watermelon Slush/Pink Sugar/Warm Vanilla Sugar pie slice <3 gift
Sniff My Tarts- Pink Peppermint
Front Porch- Vanilla Noel
CFTKR- Coconut Marshmallow
CFTKR- Cardamom Spice Rum Cake
The Bathing Garden- Gardenia Coconut Cream my very last Bathing Garden, need to restock!
Thirty Street Crafts- Turkish Fairy Floss cotton candy
Southbound Soap Co- Sweet Pink Bake Shop

As you can see, a teeny tiny basket to melt for the last few days before vacation. I will leave some out for my sister to melt of course while she house-sits and cares for all our critters. If you would like any reviewed I would be more than happy but it may take me a week or so to get to it.

I have completed my five year long hand-sewn quilt finally and will be carrying my embroidery with me to the mountains. Eighteen hours on the road total should leave me quite a bit of creating time. My finger tips will be calloused for sure. Do you have any projects or crafts you are eyeing or working on?

  1. Looks like some great picks! I hope you are having an awesome time on your trip! I'm trying to make time to do some art journaling, but that hasn't happened yet! I'm also trying to semi-purge to declutter my house. I would like to eventually do the konmarie method for decluttering-so until I get the time to do that, I'm doing a little decluttering here and there!

    1. Thank you Juliana! Is your sister still visiting? It looked like y'all were having a wonderful time! I have a Wreck This Journal that has been fun to get creative with but it has been a long time since I picked it up. Those hobbies do take time. Art always takes me forever to create. Way to go de-cluttering!! It always feel so liberating to get rid of junk and see clear spaces. Mine is a constant battle. It is clean then crap get layered all over again somehow. I will have to look into this konmarie method. Never heard of it. Have a fabulous week Juliana!

  2. Well now I'm intrigued by that RG Monkey Business Fluff Puffs!

Craftwise, hubby and I just talked the other day about make some new painted/wooden yard decorations for this fall and winter. We haven't made any in years because his workshop is in shambles. (He cuts the wood into the shapes, and I paint them.)

    1. Deb. It was seriously amazing says the banana hater. Very very creamy like banana pudding then add a ton of sugar cookies and BAM! That is what my nose inhaled all day. So so so incredible. If it is at the store when you go I will be all over it.

I hope you do make some wood yard decor! It sounds like a bonding and pleasurable experience to team up for a craft like that and you both stand back and admire the handiwork. I always enjoy seeing your yard (and home) decorations when the holidays roll around. I hope the decorating bug bites you hard this year ;-) I failed to pick up any new stuff on post holiday clearances last year so just the same old same old around here. But that's ok.
