Yankee Candle: My First Tealight Warmer

Yankee Candle. Not only is this my first tealight warmer, but this was also my maiden voyage ordering from the Yankee Candle website. It all started with Deb. It usually does. She had her finger on the Yankee Candle pulse and shared information about a new collection called Sea Breeze and figured I might like some of it. Boy howdy, did I.

The Sea Breeze warmer was around $14.99. This dish is nice and deep and can easily hold a hefty Rosegirls chunk inside. I finally have a warmer in my living-room! I used a tealight from the cheap pack of 100 tealights I purchased at Walmart and it worked well. The Sniff My Tarts chunk I threw in let off a nice haze of fragrance.

What do you melt in: tealights, hotplates, bulb warmers or a combination?

*** Edit to add, it shattered about two months after I got it. Not the most durable. Would not repurchase.***

    1. I think so! The wax is melting all the way and it is throwing pretty well. I have quite enjoying it. The bulb warmers work great in the girls' rooms but like you, I keep a hot plate in my room at the moment.

  3. That's a gorgeous warmer. I love tea light warmers. That's what I started with many years ago now, and I still prefer them. Mine are just plain white ceramic ones. I see beautiful Yankee ones that I want now and then but I never get them. Someday I'll splurge on one.

I'm glad I pointed that warmer out to you. Are you going to get any of the other things in that nautical line?

I hope you decide to get a decorative warmer one day. It really makes it more fun :-)
