Chilly weather, sweaters and hot cocoa, bonfires. We have a surprise for the girls coming up soon. My sister Heather is flying in from Houston for the Five Sisters Crafternoon. I am also looking forward to the October collaboration with Deb here on the blog too.

Nothing really. Maybe October flying by as it tends to do.

Scarlette had a strange allergic reaction and her face became swollen and red. She had to do allergy testing which was very painful for her. It ends up she is highly allergic to ragweed. I felt bad for her about the whole thing but now we know what to stay away from.

Meeting the Weasley twins! Reading books. Teaching science. Just enjoying the small things this fall.

How are you doing? Any news? Highs? Lows? Loving anything in particular?

  1. Enjoying Magic Crystals from Lush at the moment, Mint tingles and the perfect shade of haunting purple really does the trick of uplifting a tired spirit after a long days work. Enjoying having my hands busy crafting and also have slowly started wrapping up a few Christmas gifts as well to get a head start on things and clear out room in the craft room since when I buy up all the gifts they just tend to pile up in my craft room until I can wrap them all.

    1. Ooooooo. I have not heard of this one. But you sold me at mint tingles. Christmas!!! I am so excited for you!!! I need to really sit down and plan some Christmas lists out. I am behind. Normally October is Christmas month.

  2. Glad you are enjoying the ASMR rooms! :D

    1. Literally watching the Slytherin Common Room one right now. I was reading to it, but I knew I needed to pop over to the blog and get tomorrow's post ready. Thank you again for sharing this. My students are LOVING these for quiet work time.
