  1. Happy back to school giveaway!

Holy wax load! CRTKR Strawberries? You are so generous sister! <3 One year I made a pumpkin/pecan pie. Literally 2 in 1 because I love BOTH pies so much. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it because it was really just a fun cooking experiment. I am unable to find the recipe I followed, so I just found one that looked pretty good.

  2. What a great giveaway! I'm not much of a chef or baker, but I love dipping Honeycrisp apples in cinnamon. It is such a great taste combination. You just can't go wrong with apples & cinnamon. I do love going to apple orchards in the fall and buying freshly made apple cider.

I eyeball everything, so I couldn't tell ya the exact method, time, heat, etc. Thank you for the giveaway opportunity. I like reading the comments so far, especially the pie one. Mmmm.

Ah fall. Pumpkins, hayrides, apple orchards, bonfires and Tony Elman. The most magical time of year! I don't really make anything with apples around fall! It's all pumpkin in this house! So here's some pumpkin ones for ya.

My ultimate favorite fall treat is this pumpkin bread: http://m.allrecipes.com/recipe/6820/downeast-maine-pumpkin-bread/?mxt=t06rdn. It is RIDIUCLOUS in the mornings toasted up with a little butter. I always end up making multiple batches every fall, often giving as gifts too. Everyone raves about it.

This year will be a little different (well, last year was too) because I've been gluten free/paleo for about a year now so I can't eat my beloved pumpkin bread. These pumpkin pancakes are helping to quell my craving for it: http://www.jolynneshane.com/pumpkin-pancakes-glutenfree-paleo.html. Actually, I make these bad boys year round!

Aaaaand one last pumpkin recipe. I make at least 2 of these every Thanksgiving. I've tried a lot of pumpkin cheesecake recipes but this one tops them all (though I skip the sour cream topping and make the caramel sauce myself for drizzling on top): http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/pumpkin-cheesecake-with-caramel-swirl-2635

I swear I'm done! I can't help but get overly enthusiastic about fall =D

Yay for your home almost being completed!!!! I would love to see photos! I bet it is stunning. I need to step up my fall game and hunt a few new decorations. And the mums! I need new mums for my front door <3 who knows what shape my wreaths are in... :-) maybe new wreaths too.

I hope 2015 autumn is your best yet my dear friend!!!

  21. Such an awesome giveaway! Apples don't last as long in Alaska as they do in the lower 48, so we have to eat them quickly. When I know we won't be eating the apples, I like to make apple pie filling and freeze it. Here is a recipe I like:
