Comfy cozy autumn in a basket. This is going to be one great smelling week. If you would like me to review any of these please holler. I would be honored.

I found a big fat chrysalis hanging from the girls' playset in plain sight and decided it would be safer on our porch from curious kids or predators. So I plucked it off and hung it from a set of my wind chimes. About 3 weeks later this big beautiful moth emerged. We gently placed her on our Norfolk Island Pine in the backyard. Isn't she a beaut? And huge!

Wow. October. She sure is scooting by already. We had our first real little cool day with some drizzle and daytime temps in the 60's and 70's. The girls had a bonfire. And I caught a terrarium making bug. Complete with a gnome, whimsical mushrooms and spotted deer.

I have a couple orders placed: FuturePrimitve milk tea bath bags, Tauerville Rose Flash perfume, and a tiny Lake Providence Lodge order. I saved most of my money this past monthly payday to buy tickets to EPCOT's Candlelight Processional and dinner at Chefs de France. Meredith Vieira will be the celebrity narrator that evening. The childrens' choir never disappoints. Plus EPCOT during Christmas is spectacular. All the various countries showcase their own Christmas traditions from La Befana, the Good Witch,  in Italy to Papa Noel in France. I know, I know, talking about Christmas already, but this event fills up fast (I wanted December 5th with Whoopi Goldberg and for my birthday, but it was already sold out). Plus around mid-October I start getting itchy to buy Christmas presents. But I will try and refrain from any more of this Christmas-speak.

Have you ordered anything fun recently? Planning or saving for an upcoming holiday event or visit?

  2. That moth! It should be on a postcard!

You've got a great week of melting coming up, I anticipate several 'hits' from this basket :)

I'm refraining from ordering because of the move but I think Dessa's may be my first order in the new house once I get settled. She's next on my list :)

    1. Thank you!

I think you are right. I wil have LOTS of repurchases from this basket. But hey. That's a good thing.

I am so excited for you Sunnee. When you get settled will you please message me your new address? Dessa's will be a nice first time order in your new place. Do you know how you are going to decorate yet? Have you spied any exciting pieces??

  3. What a delectable melting basket!! I want to hear about the MS Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls! Last year (2 years ago?) BBW did a Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll candle that smelled incredible on cold but like burnt ash when warmed. I've been looking for a dupe of the cold scent, it was the closest to the smell of a real Cinnabon store that I had ever smelled!

I'm not much of a Disney kind of girl, but Epcot is one of my favorite places on Earth. The festivities you have planned for December sound wonderful. Please take a ton of pictures!! It would be a dream to be there for Christmas!

I'm itching for Christmas too, so I feel you! I'm already planning my decorations. The moment fall comes around, the next thought on my mind is that snow and Christmas is coming <3

    1. Burnt ash?!?! Eeewwwww.... But I will definitely review the Cinnamon Roll! If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have it! <3

Disney is just getting so unbelievably expensive for families to attend. They used to offer a free ticket if you volunteered a certain amount of hours or for your birthday. Now, nothing. Magic Kingdom is now $105 per person! And more expensive than all the other parks. They used to be all the same cost. So sad. My girls have not been in 5 years. But, thankfully we are making a way to go to EPCOT. It is my favorite park too. Most people hate it but the traveler/teacher in me adores it. Plus! The United States only stand alone Guerlain store?!?! Yes please! (Hoping to buy myself a wee birthday gift in there).

Glad I am not the only one feeling the beginning tingles of Christmas! Lol! Your home is going to be so beautiful all decorated! Are you going to host a party?

  4. I want to plop my face into this melting basket and just inhale, maybe take a nap. Mmmm.

The moth is gorgeous, as is the pic. Looks like creepy eyeballs on the lower wings.

(I'm so far behind on commenting on blogs. Ugh.)

    1. Yes Deb. You do need to plant yourself in this basket. Naps are always yum. I could use one of those about now.

  6. Those scents sound amazing! I picked up some maple-something (I don't remember) wax from a store & every time I turn on my warmer, it makes me hungry for pancakes or waffles or something! It smells really good, LOL!

Your pictures are gorgeous! I'm jealous of your Disney Christmas event! We've been to Disney & Epcot at Christmastime before, but we've never done the Candlelight Processional. I do love all Disney at Christmas, but it's sooooo expensive! We ate in France (at Epcot) before, & it was so delicious! Y'all are going to have such fun!! :)

    1. Sometimes smells do that to me too. Especially if it's a really good vanilla or cookies sent. I'm glad you found some yummy smelling tarts!

Disney is majorly expensive nowadays! But sometimes it's worth saving for. I think I am just as excited to eat in France as anything else lol!!
