Mermaid Treasures: Jonesing For Jewelry

I took a gamble on a hand beaded necklace and it paid off. Carin Jones, the owner and jewelry at Jonesing for Jewelry on Etsy builds rustic pieces both for the body and the home. Check out her deer antler adorned with silver cast succulents.

She listed a handful of bead necklaces with silver charms and I knew I needed one. I now wish I would have bought two or three, as I know they will look killer together.

The necklace came immaculately packaged. Padded with crinkle paper, wrapped in flannel and tied with twine. Her fish logo is the bees' knees.

Check out that tag.

The necklaces were all different lengths but all were able to fit easily over the head. This combo of blue and brown fit my wardrobe and fancy perfectly.

The silver charms were smithed by Carin and I appreciate her attention to detail in the little tag with her maker's mark at the back of the necklace.

This is what it looks like on, and I love it alone, but I do so hope she lists more bead necklaces in the future. I can see a few of them being layered looking incredible.

Do you layer necklaces? What colors would you buy them in?

    1. I wasn't sure how much I would enjoy it when I purchased it, but once it arrived and I slipped it on, it was instant love. Thank you! I hope so too!! Hindsight and all that jazz. If it is meant to be then it will happen. :-)

    1. Jean. You have utterly ruined me for accessories LOL! I used to think woe is me about wax purchases but I could not possibly indulge my jewelry yen like I do my wax yen. But it sure is fun trying! You are too sweet, please don't feel like you have to. <3 Are you feeling any fall breeze up your way yet? Do you have any fall hiking plans? One more year and I will be up your way. Looking forward to it.

    2. Gah, and Heather King was how I got into jewelry, lol. Summer is still going strong here just the way I like it, we had one fall-like day a couple of weeks ago. I must return to the place I went for my birthday ASAP.

Yes, looking forward to seeing you and your sisters! <3
