Wick & Fable: The Burrow Candle

A new Wick & Fable candle was lit last night.

The Burrow- Notes: Freshly baked treacle tart and whipped cream. $16 for 8 ounce candle

I mainly wanted this because I do love everything about The Burrow but also treacle tarts taste delicious. This one was an anomaly as far as how it burned. This one is tunneling a little, leaving some unmelted wax on the sides despite burning for long periods of time. The scent smells of warm caramel and cream. The throw was lighter on this one too. Pretty much light to medium-light in the larger living areas and medium-light to medium throw in my bedroom.

So pretty much just an atmospheric candle with a hint of scent which is not cool for a $16 candle, but I guess they can't all be winners. I have certainly had this happen with Yankee and Bath & Body Works from time to time.

I will put this one by the bathtub and light a new one for the living room this weekend.

Even though I cannot visit The Burrow I can still visit the Weasley twins. And that is just as cool.

  1. That picture is fantastic! I can't believe you staying in character for the picture - I would have been freaking out! Kudos to your husband for picking the right color shirt to wear ;).

    1. Thank you, Sarah!! I did geek out right before and right after the pic but I had to make my first one a true cosplay one. LOL! It's funny you mention Adam's shirt. He was so excited to match one of the Phelps twins. Adam is a big golfer and the twins are too so I was hoping he would strike up a convo about that since FL has such great golf courses.

It was a ton of fun and we look forward to going to more.

  2. Epicness. James and Oliver seem like the sweetest fellas, I'm guilty of never knowing which played which role, but they will always be my favorite Weasleys. This would be my Christmas card for years<3

    1. They are very nice. They said a friendly hello and helped the girls get situated and were patient. I said it was nice to meet them and they said thank you. I would totally want to hang out with them if I could.

I am so glad you mentioned Christmas card. I will have to do that.

  3. That photo is everything, plus you all look smashing - BLOW. IT. UP. And mount it somewhere prominent - facing the front door, right as you come in! Everybody needs to see this. :)

    1. Thanks!!! Savanna currently has the actual printout that is framed but I may have to order a larger size for posterity. :-)
