Candle Creek Cottage... and Cinnamon Brooms!

My sister, Darby, schools me in wax sometimes. I love it. She introduced me to Can-Do and now Candle Creek Cottage out of Etsy. She even bought proper wax packaging paraphernalia. What more could I ask for as an enabling older sister?! I can't! I am stoked! We sniff together, compare throw and scent and it is fun. She shared some of her recent haul and I am thankful.

Wax bones in Buttercream. These are one ounce each.

Candy apple scented in Caramel Apple. Fitting. One ounce including the stick.

Iiiiiiiiiit's Cinnamon Broom Time! I have been waiting with baited breath for these babies to land at Publix. When they arrive I know it is fall. We have friends who live in Cleveland, Georgia (Cabbage Patch Kid central too) and we drove past the place where they make these divine spiced scented brooms. I kick myself for not having pulled in to check out their store. I will next time. They stay strong for a couple of weeks then become Halloween decor, posing as a long witch's broom by the front door.

Anyone else love cinnamon brooms? How about cinnamon pinecones? There is something so homey about the scent of cinnamon.

  1. Ahh, nothing better than walking through the cinnamon cloud above the cinnamon pinecones outside the supermarket. I've never bought any, I'm not sure why I'm denying myself but I will get some this year.

    1. Hi Jean! Yes, I think you should try a few cinnamon pinecones... in fact, I think I do too! I have a few baskets laying around that could use some pinecones.

  2. I wish I had somebody in my close to me real life who shared an interest in wax so I could share and trade and talk about it. My sister is out of state and is only a very casual melter.

Cinnamon brooms! I still have not seen any in any of the stores I go to around here. I'm still trying to decide if I want to order the mini ones from that site. They would be cute. As for pine cones, I've never bought them but I do love seeing and smelling them in the stores.

    1. It does make it fun. Granted I push wax on all my sisters and moms but when Darby took the initiative to place her own orders and get the baggies it took it to awhile new level! Mom and Lindsey have ordered too. Maybe you can hook a co-worker or future daughter-in-law into it! I hold out hope you get the best DIL(s) ever.

You have me oogling the mini brooms too. I keep picturing them on my tree or on gifts. Or in my car.
