L'Occitane: Voyage de Lavande

I *may* have bought myself a gift while buying for others as well. Those Christmas promotions are hard to pass up. And really, if it is Buy 2 Get 1 Free, and yours is the free one then it technically isn't buying yourself a gift (?). Right? That's my story and I am sticking to it.

I chose the Lavender, Verbena and Shea Butter boxed gift sets, keeping the lavender for myself after conferring with a friend which one should go where.

Lavande Body Lotion starts out thin and slightly milky but surprised me by leaving a nice shine on my skin and feeling rather nourishing. The sunflower oil, shea butter and lavender oil enrich this lotion quite nicely. The lavender aroma smells slightly herbal and clean with a touch of honey almond sweetness to keep thoughts of detergents far from mind.

Lavande Hand Cream, much like last L'Occitane review, remains one of my favorite hand creams. I am thankful to have another full sized mama joining my collection. My nose tells me the hand cream version smells slightly more concentrated than the body lotion. The formulas are different so maybe that influences the scent. (Please pardon these upside down hand cream photos, I could have taken the picture with it laying down, but what fun is that?)

Lavande Soap smells just as lovely as the lotion and hand cream. I have not had the pleasure of using this soap yet, but if you are interested in how it goes, just comment below and I can review it.

Did any promotions such as this influence you to purchase certain Christmas gifts? Did you receive any bath and body products for Christmas this year? Can I tell you how ready I am to be done using the word Christmas? Bah Humbug.

;-)
