Some of my Rosegirls labels were turning yellow so I am taking that as my cue to stop hoarding them and start melting. I know for a fact I have had that Ooey Gooey Crackers for at least two years. Part of my Waxy Spring Cleaning. If there is anything you would like to have reviewed, please let me know!

Spring Break is officially on tap. We have some non-fun appointments to keep but I am planning on a beach day trip and lots of outside play for the girls. Also decorating Easter eggs and water sprinkler fun.

I am still plucking away at my Elizabeth I novel. It is written really well, just seriously thick. Savanna and I have incorporated Mommy/Daughter reading time, where we sit side by side and read in tandem. She is reading The Secret Garden for her first Book Club meeting. She will then go to a friend's house with a few other girls who have read it, watch the movie, then have a proper tea in the girl's own secret garden (her mom is a Master Gardener and has amazing plant skills). This makes me unaccountably excited. I secretly hope to raise a bookworm.

Any Spring Break plans? Reading anything good? Do you Spring Clean? Are you playing any April Fool's pranks today? >Darby, did you put your boss' stapler in a jello mold again?<

I still find it hard to believe that our kids are old enough to be book worms & read without help! thankfully he still enjoys the snuggles. :)

    1. Gilligan smells like rich coconut milk to me (but it is always blended with other scents when I try it) I do have it coming as a single scent, so I can tell better then. I do know I LOVE it!

May the snuggles never stop. <3

Tokyo Disney! Owl Cafés! How exciting!!! Only 3 and 1/2 months and counting!!!!!! Kinda! Rounding down! HAHAHAAA!! Can't wait to smell my way through Japan with you.

    2. It is the reproductive part of the palm. Like a pollen net? Eventually the turn into seeds/nut/fruit and drop off. I thought it was interesting looking.

Thanks! It has been very busy. Hoping Friday brings some rest and rejuvenation at the beach.

To my nose it was sweet but it may have been the cream and mint that made it that way. If I get the chance I hope for a full bag in that and the Strudel & Spice. Yummy yummy. Carol has me in a tart trance.

    5. These are Queen Palms, I think each variety has a slightly different structure. Thank you! Hoping the weather will hold. Grandma's Cupoard going on the Wish List! Spicy bakery is a favorite of mine.

    1. It is a nice week off for sure! Reading for pleasure is so important to me. I realize I can only lead, not force, but my hopes are high! I hope you have a beautiful rest of week Nancy!

  5. Looks like lots of great scents in your basket!! Love the pics of your swinging girl & the flowers! Our Spring Break has been kind of low key since Craig has had to work. But we're still having fun! I love that your daughter has a book club! I miss having a book club myself, LOL! Years ago, our playgroup tried to have a book club for the bigger kiddos, but it didn't take off. And now you're making me want to read the Secret Garden too!! I think I read it when I was a kid, but it's been sooo long!! :-)

    1. Our spring break has definitely been home based most if the time, but not today!!! Headed to Coquina Beach in about 2 minutes :-D

Book Clubs are so much fun. You and I reading a book ten watching the movie is my only Book Club right now.
