In The Clear: Wax Bags

I was running out of baggies to put wax tarts in for gifting, cutting up and general storage. Once again I headed to my favorite place to purchase, In The Clear on Etsy. There are lots of places to purchase the proper storage bags for wax tarts, even vendors sell bags now, but In The Clear ships so startlingly fast that I just can't resist. This time around I bought some glassine bags as well.

Zip top polypropylene bags (50 ct) in a 4 x 4 inch size cost $2.85.

Fifty medium gusseted glassine bags (3 x 1 3/4 x 6 3/4 inches) ran $5.00 even.

Use the code weheartpackaging for an extra 10% off.

Where do you buy your wax tart baggies?

  1. I like those glassine bags. Those are the waxy-like paper bags that you fold over, right? I think I'd like those for swapping, seal them with a cute little seasonal sticker. =)

    1. You and I are on the same wavelength! I am using then for gifting with a washi tape seal and a gift tag label. Glassine bags are my cat nip. The crinkle the semi transparency, the old fashioned feel. LOVE.

  2. I typically buy my bags from Wilma. Her shipping is more reasonable than In the Clear.

    1. I keep meaning to swing by her store in New Port Richey! In The Clear only ran $3.80 for shipping do it wasn't bad, especially by Etsy standards lol! Doesn't Wilma do free shipping at a certain amount?

  3. Oh wow. That is pretty cheap for shipping from In the Clear. My shipping is usually around $9. I don't know if she does free shipping at some price point. I think it is a flat rate fee of $5 something.

  4. i usually order from in the clear also. If I buy a pack of 50, my shipping is usually under $4.00 too. There is another place that wasn't bad. I have to look up the name.

    1. Sometimes I get the itch to order elsewhere then I start scrolling through all In The Clear's cutesy packaging and things then end up ordering anyway lol!

    1. Really?! That stinks :-/ I wonder if they tinkered with the shipping and lowered it recently. Either way, a bag is a bag and as long as they work I am good! I have not ordered from L3WW in ages. How is the throw?

    2. I have only melted one at this point....because....wax hoarder issues and too much wax problems. LOL! But throw was a solid medium. Her wax blend seems to be quite a bit more paraffin than soy and that excites me! Those generally have a long shelf life, I've found. I'm in no hurry as most of them are quite fruity. I ordered in April so I got all summer blends. No worries. I'll get to em. And I'll be sure to let you know.
