It was raining and chilly (in the 60's) outside last night. We had just finished decorating our tree so I decided to take some photos and enjoy the temperature.
This guy joined me too.
This weekend will be a special one for me. I will be turning 35 on Sunday. We plan on viewing some light displays, having dinner in while watching old Christmas movies, and maybe a nice breakfast before church. Low-key is what I crave right now. Soft pjs, warm cuddles, and maybe a nap. I have a feeling being 35 is going to be incredible. What are your plans this first weekend in December? How is your weather? Did you order anything over the huge retail weekend?
Happy early Birthday! Grocery/gift shopping tomorrow. Had a bit of rain yesterday; sunny and 60's today. Ordered almost all my family and friends gifts online, as well as a couple things for me: small Ava's wax order, Uber Chic nail mat and several nail vinyls/stencils. Love this time of year!

DeleteI have my RG Christmas muffins cut up and ready to go, and I found two fall ones in there that I'd totally forgotten about. Doh! I might melt them anyway just to use them up and start a fresh stash next fall.

I commented on this last night but my phone must have eaten the comment, big surprise! Sounds like a festive melting basket indeed! There are some staples in there for sure, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies, Christmas Cabin and Orange Clove are necessities for me! And SCENTSY SPICED GRAPEFRUIT! I am insanely jealous of this one, I melted the last of mine last year. Balsam and Citrus is a nice replacement though. I haven't melted much vendor lately (par for the course at this point, I suppose) but I have been in the mood for bakery lately. Did Tiffany Bakers Dozen/Marshmallow (outstanding) and RG Dunk My Donut/Vanilla Crunch Donuts/Cuppa Cake (started out SO GOOD but died down to a cheap generic vanilla which I suspect was then VCD scent). Been working my way through my BBW and Candle Lab stashes =D
ReplyDeleteI melted through some of my older Rosegirls muffins and they just did not age well. :-/ I think I need to stop saving it for last and use it earlier. Good thing is though, I really don't have much of it left. So if she ever opens for customs again, I will be starting fresh.
DeleteSpiced Grapefruit was KILLER! I loved it so much! Balsam and Citrus is a apt substitute for it though. I got two bags from Carol left. :-) <3 Those will be melted here in the next basket I bet. Mmmmmm candles! I just love candles right now. Burning Fresh Balsam at night.
