Better Homes and Gardens: Fresh Cut Frasier

Hey guys! Sorry for the late post. It has been a crazy busy week and weekends in December tend to be overflowing when you come from blended families. Please hang in there with me this month when things get a little erratic.

Fresh Cut Fraser, the perfect scent for winter and the holidays. This Better Homes & Gardens scent merges evergreen boughs and crystallized sugar. The throw is belligerently strong. It remained a sweet pine until about 5 hours in when the sugar burned off and a chemical laden Pine-Sol type of aroma started leaking out. That is when I tossed it. But for those first few hours of amazingness... I would repurchase.

  1. A Christmas must-have, but I can only take pine in small, light doses. I'm pretty sure I have this in my stash. =)

    1. Then make sure to only use one or two cubes! I put three in one warmer and three in the other and pine needles were slapping my face all morning >_<

  2. i love the smell of fresh Christmas tree!! I just wish it translated as nicely to wax!! I've got a pine scented clam to try & trick my nose into believing this sad little fake tree is real.. but we only put 1/2 a cube in at a time!! and always mixed with cinnamon something.. lol.

    1. Me too. It is such a beautiful and evocative scent. Brings to mind the magic of Christmas, the thrill of outdoor romping and winter chills. Cinnamon and citrus go so well with pine <3 vanilla too, and mint, and berry, and and and.... Lol!!

  3. This is a good one. It has that a hint of sweetness to it that draws me in every dang year when I see it at WalMart. I haven't made it in though for holiday scents yet. Trying to resist (also, who wants to go into Walmart around the holidays?)! My go-to pine this year is BBW Autumn Spiced Wreath, of course =D

    1. Short answer: no one. Lol! Even Target gets cuckoo this time of year. And we still have to finish shopping. You know I *almost* bought that candle online but I seriously just need to burn what I have first. I still have four year old Marshmallow Firesides up in my closet. Hoarding and aging them like a fine reserve wine.
