I hope you do not mind a little flash back to Christmas. I really have not had a chance to share my holiday with you. My oldest got her much wished for Nintendo 3DS XL from Santa.

My baby got a Polariod type camera from Santa. She has managed to use 50 photos in less than three days.

Here is my Christmas haul from my girls, Adam and Santa. I have been blessed and love everything I got. My husband really is a wonderful shopper.

I have so many delightful things to look forward to checking off my 100 Bucket List for 2016. Please share your most anticipated 2016 event or goal. I really am going to come out of this year with knitting firmly under my belt. I just know it. Tomorrow showcases a brand spanking new vendor along with a giveaway to try out her scents. Stay tuned friends!

  1. I think my most anticipated thing in 2016 is that the new Vikings stadium will open and we will once again make the trip to Minnesota for a game. I'm also hoping to finally get some small but much needed things done around the house, like new curtains and towels for the kitchen, and adding curtains to the laundry room. Sounds simple enough but I just never do it.

    1. The new stadium sounds exciting. I hope you get to go to a game again. I loved seeing Kurth all decked out in his Viking regalia. Small things around the house make a big difference though. Kitchen towels can be fun. Are you going for work horse towels or cute ones? I have been tossing the idea for new curtains in our bedroom around too. I just am no good at curtains. Never sure what to pick. Plus I kind of just like having blinds up, but then curtains add a nice touch.

    2. I'd like to find some cute work horse towels. I think you often have to sacrifice one for the other though. The towels and curtains I have now are just worn and pretty much thread bare. And in the laundry room we only have valances. For Christmas, we always put up festive themed valance/curtain sets and I've decided the addition of the curtains makes the room cozier.

My current theme has fruits and veggies all over the kitchen. I'm not finding anything to fit that, at least none that I like enough. I've been toying with the idea of changing it all over to foxes. =)

  2. Thanks so much for the wonderful blog, Julie. I've discovered some great new vendors courtesy of The Redolent Mermaid. My New Years Resolution: investigate blogging for myself! I've thought of print/video possibilities and now maybe it's time to put my plans in motion.

    1. Thank YOU so much Kevin for reading and chatting and giving great recs! I think you would be an EXCELLENT blogger! Please post a link once you start so I can support you. Vlogging looks cool too. I just don't do making videos well lol! But there are some fun vlogs out there for inspiration for sure. Will you do all fragrance things or mainly wax?
